Christina Haack Looks So Different Without Her Hair In Its Signature Middle-Part

Christina Haack is a celebrity who, you could argue has a signature hairstyle. The HGTV star and famous house flipper loves to wear her hair parted down the middle, with her signature blond locks in loose, beachy waves. So when Haack changes things up — AKA goes for a side part — her hair looks completely different. It's rare for Haack to style her hair like this, so when she does, it's as if her entire aura changes. 

It seems that Haack goes for a side part when she wants to look especially glamorous. In March 2021, Haack rocked a romantic side part with long, flowing curls for the wedding of her best friend, Cassie Zebisch. For the Malibu wedding, Haack opted for a floor-length, nude gown with sheer cutouts, and long, styled curls swooped to the side. People really noticed the difference in Haack's hair. "[S]tunning. [L]ove your hair parted off to the side," one person commented in a post that Haack shared on Instagram. "All are lovely. Really like your side part!!! Flattering and soft," another noted. "Love, love your hair parted on the side," a third wrote. "Sensational! Side part is exquisite," a fourth added. Clearly, people really responded to Haack's side part, with many appreciating the touch of allure that it brought to her wedding guest look. 

Christina Haack switches up her part when she wants to make her hair look extra special. It's easy to see why, as stylists agree this simple change can instantly elevate a look. "A deep side-part enhances movement and gives an undone glamour," stylist Caspar Finch told Elle. Haack proved this to be true when she opted for a side swoop when she attended the "Barbie" premiere in July 2023, where she showed up in a sequin dress and very Barbie-inspired hair, complete with a dramatic side sweep. It was definitely different from her typical hair style, and added an extra touch of glamour to the occasion. 

Haack's hair is so luscious and full that it's garnered a lot of attention, but her hair hasn't always looked this way. Longtime "Flip or Flop" fans know that Haack looked so different back during her HGTV debut when she had short hair. Haack has a few tricks for making her hair look long and full, especially by using hair extensions. In fact, we've gotten so used to her wearing them that Haack looks nearly unrecognizable without her signature hair extensions. They're also a bit of a challenge to use, and so it's understandable that Haack has made some rookie hair extension mistakes that were hard to ignore. Nonetheless, she's persisted with this beauty routine, and has gained a reputation for thick, bombshell blond hair. And those rare moments when she styles it with a side part look so dreamy, we're wondering why she doesn't wear her hair like that more often.
