Kate Middleton Stunned In Trendy Butter Yellow At Wimbledon (& Her Beauty Routine Was On Point)

Catherine, Princess of Wales, looked seriously stunning — and totally on trend — when appearing at London's Wimbledon tennis tournament on July 12, 2025. The royal appeared every inch the princess in spring/summer 2025's most on-trend color, butter yellow, which we've spotted on various high-fashion runways. Kate's classy and elegant ensemble included a structured, short-sleeved button-up with a chunky belt at the waist, paired with a pleated midi skirt in the same shade. The beauty maintained a classy and muted color palette with her shoes too, as she wore pointed-toe pumps that toed the line between beige and butter yellow.

Kate strayed from the super light shade with her jewelry, though. The beauty wore a regal gold bangle on her right wrist and a silver watch on her left, bringing back the mixed metal jewelry trend of 2023. And, of course, Kate also wore her stunning blue sapphire engagement ring alongside her wedding ring.

But it wasn't just her trendy ensemble and accessories that had us doing a double-take, as Kate's beauty routine was on-point, too. King Charles's daughter-in-law stuck to her signature soft glam for her appearance in the British capital and looked absolutely gorgeous (because, hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it). Kate wore understated makeup, including glowy skin and warm blush, a slick of mascara, and a light dusting of brown eyeshadow. The mom of three also added a little color to her face with a light, pink-coral lipstick that complemented her complexion and impossibly shiny, brunette locks. Kate's healthy hair had an off-center part, and she wore her voluminous, wavy strands over her left shoulder.

Seeing as butter yellow is officially Catherine, Princess of Wales-approved, there's never been a better time to inject the shade into your wardrobe. In that instance, the working royal wowed at an event in Edinburgh, Scotland, wearing a long-sleeved, collared coat-dress with a tartan clutch bag, a champagne fascinator, and black heels. The ahead-of-its-time ensemble had her looking equally as gorgeous as she did in a slightly lighter version of the same color 13 years later.
