9 Lauren Boebert Outfits That Fit Right In At A Kid Rock Concert

Ever since Lauren Boebert was spotted with Kid Rock in February 2025, it's been impossible to escape rumors about the two being a couple. And to be honest, the speculation is understandable. Although neither party has confirmed any relationship to the public, one could argue they're perfect for each other. Not only are they politically aligned and share a deep affinity for the man in the White House who has yet to figure out that orange foundation isn't his color, but they also just work, fashionably speaking. Kid Rock's over-the-top, ostentatious Americana style speaks to a unique brand of out-of-touch tackiness that goes hand in hand with Boebert's many outfit misses, which are usually unnecessarily loud and glitzy for the setting.

So, while this little rumored tête-à-tête appears to be in its infancy, it seems Boebert has been preparing to be Mrs. Kid Rock her entire life. Between the cowboy hats, MAGA tees, and "Don't Tread on Me" shirts, the congresswoman has long looked like she should be standing alongside the singer — or at least be front row at one of his concerts.

The cowboy hat ensemble

If you're wondering why Lauren Boebert and Kid Rock are back in the news, you can blame this photo. On May 18, 2025, radio show host Dana Loesch posted this photo on X of herself, her husband, Boebert, and Kid Rock. Apparently, the former three had attended the latter's concert. As we can see, Boebert is definitely dressed for the event with her cowboy hat, a brown dress that looks like it might need some ironing, and her U.S.flag-themed cowboy boots. While chic western-inspired fashion will always be popular in the U.S., no one in this photo is bringing any level of chic to the equation.

The Christopher Gadsden get-up

Not every concert requires bringing your A-game — which in Kid Rock world means wearing cowboy boots and a cowboy hat while draped in the American flag. In some cases, all you need is a coiled snake found on the Gadsden flag on a black t-shirt (with the American flag on the sleeve, of course), and a matching baseball-style cap. It's easy, low-key, and even Lauren Boebert couldn't mess up this look.

Trying to mock AOC and failing

When Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez attended the 2021 Met Gala, she wore a dress designed by Aurora James that read "Tax the Rich" in red across the back of the white dress. To no surprise, the GOP got their undies in a twist over this and a few months later, in November of that same year, Lauren Boebert decided to do her own take on it with a dress featuring an anti-President Joe Biden slogan, "Let's Go Brandon." While you're not likely to see any off-the-rack bridesmaid dresses at a Kid Rock show (or maybe you do on certain occasions), due to the message here, this look works. After all, Kid Rock himself has been seen wearing t-shirts with controversial conservative campaign slogans, including as his infamous 'I am the 1%' tee.

Bored in hot pink and cowboy boots while waiting for the Kid Rock show to start

Although Lauren Boebert looks bored and maybe even a bit sullen in this photo, don't you fret a single second. She's simply waiting for the next Kid Rock show to start, as is evidenced by her hot pink tank top, the outdated denim trend she can't give up, and her cowboy boots. The formulaic look is pretty much textbook attire for a country show, complete with the hair curled in long loose waves and a side part. Whether the next concert is in a couple hours or a few weeks away, Boebert is ready — and you better believe she'll be twerking to the song "Cowboy" like it's nobody's business.

Trying to bring back the off-the-shoulder t-shirt look

In September 2024, Lauren Boebert attended the Rocky Mountain Rumble wearing her beloved skinny jeans and an off-the-shoulder t-shirt featuring an image of her favorite "bulletproof" president.

With Boebert's signature beauty mistake, cakey foundation, intact, and a lipstick color a couple shades shy of being a proper red, not only does Boebert look like she's been plucked out of 1999 — and not in a good way — but she's also certainly Kid Rock concert-ready.

Misunderstanding the gladiator sandal trend

It seems that September 2024 was a big month for Lauren Boebert wearing outfits that were literally made for Kid Rock concerts. Here she's wearing a black mini-dress, yet another cowboy hat, and a very outdated sandal trend that most people have the wherewithal not to wear. Sure, gladiator sandals were cool in Ancient Rome, but even when they came back into fashion in the 1960s, then again as part of the Y2K fashion trend revival, they always looked better than how Boebert is wearing them. Also, it's worth noting that due to the shadow of the Colorado flag behind Boebert, it looks like she's wearing a witch's hat.

Making the Colorado wilderness unsafe again with a gun strapped to her leg

Real talk: who goes for a hike in the Colorado mountains wearing what appears to be mule-style shoes, a gun strapped to their leg, and outdated skinny jeans? Lauren Boebert on her way to a Kid Rock concert, that's who. After all, you never know when you're going to need to wave your gun around and brag about how many guns you have, as Kid Rock himself did during a 2024 interview for Rolling Stone.

Ready to rock in hot pink

On January 11, 2025, just over a week away from inauguration day, Lauren Boebert attended an event wearing a near-neon pink, skin-tight mini-dress and, to no surprise, her go-to piece that keeps her on the worst-dressed list: an ill-fitting blazer. Apparently Boebert, like former White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, has a thing for woefully outdated outfits and neon articles of clothing are on that list. Either way, once Boebert drops blazer, she's ready to rock.

Channeling Poison's Bret Michaels

For those of us of a certain age, seeing a handkerchief worn this way immediately calls to mind Bret Michaels, the lead singer of the band Poison. But since we can safely assume where Lauren Boebert's heart resides in 2025, this choice, while on brand for her, is likely just an accidental homage to Michaels. And given, that both Kid Rock and Michaels have been photographed together, it's understandable there's an overlapping of aesthetics. Either way, in May 2021, Boebert showed she's probably a fan of both musicians with this look: complete with a dreadful handkerchief, her hair in braids, skinny jeans (of course), and an oversized leather jacket.
