Elizabeth Strafford From 1923: A Yellowstone Origin Story Is Gorgeous In Real Life

While Michelle Randolph stunned as Ainsley Norris in "Landman," playing the bold and chaotic daughter of Billy Bob Thornton's Tommy, the California native also made her mark in "1923" as Elizabeth "Liz" Strafford. The start of the "Yellowstone" prequel series sees the actor attempting to settle into ranch life as the fiancé of Jack Dutton. "When you play a character who's still figuring themselves out, it's a journey of discovery for you as an actor, too," she told Cowgirl Magazine ahead of the show's second season. "You get to explore their vulnerabilities, their strengths, and everything in between."

Some viewers have asserted that Randolph looks out of place in the period drama, adding her to the list of celebs like Dakota Johnson and Millie Bobby Brown who allegedly suffer from the too-modern appearance known as "iPhone face." Even so, her contemporary beauty definitely shines off-screen via her red carpet ensembles and Instagram posts, and the star's minimalist approach shines through her aesthetic and routine. "In the last few years, I've really tried to simplify [my beauty routine]," she told L'BEAUTE. "Not just because I travel a lot, but also because I've realized that the simpler my beauty routine is, the happier I am and the better my skin looks."

Michelle's beauty secrets include clean skincare and red light therapy

In her interview with L'BEAUTE, "1923" actor Michelle Randolph opened up about her beauty secrets, attributing the health of her skin to a simplified skincare routine and specialized treatments. "Lately I got really into clean skincare, makeup, and hair care," she told the outlet, joining the clean beauty movement. "I went through a phase where I learned a lot about ingredients and chemicals, and that definitely made me want to simplify my beauty routine even more." The California native named Eminence as one of her favorite brands and highlighted the Vitamin C Serum from SkinCeuticals as a standout product.

In addition to washing her face regularly and getting plenty of sleep, Randolph is among those who know red light therapy is a gamechanger for skin. "There are a lot [of places] in LA that have full-body red light beds," she said. "Whenever I can find one, I go and lay on it. I love those." The star also names regular HydraFacials and IV therapy as must-have treatments, noting the positive effects the treatments have on her skin. With these secrets in mind, it's clear that Randolph uses products and therapies that perfectly suit the minimalist beauty, helping her shine on and off the screen.
