Love Island Star Ariana Madix Is So Stunning Without Makeup

We love Ariana Madix at Women.com. Not only did Madix write the handbook for fighting back against gaslighting (figuratively, of course), she's also given us the confidence to go makeup-free on social media by appearing in gorgeous, au natural content. In 2022, the "Love Island" host glowed during what appeared to be golden hour and snapped an inspiring Instagram selfie as she relaxed on her sofa wearing a blue and white striped, collared shirt. 

Madix turned the comments off for the post, but her makeup-free skin spoke for itself. Her complexion was clear and smooth, though she had a little redness over her cheeks and the tip of her nose. Her skin was so breathtaking she could easily have been wearing foundation, but the faint freckles on her cheek and chin that were only just visible confirmed she wasn't.

It was more obvious that the reality star's eyebrows weren't filled in. Madix's light blond brows tend to be a little darker and fuller when she's all made up, but the understated snap showed they still have a flattering shape using her natural hairs alone. Though she usually loves faux lashes, much like Katy Perry who also looks stunning without them, her natural hairs were visible, particularly underneath her eyes.

Ariana Madix showed us what she looks like before she puts her makeup on in a TikTok for Maybelline. The clip showed the TV host looking gorgeous while bare-faced with her blond locks pushed back before she applied one of her go-to cosmetics, Maybelline's Instant Perfector 4-In-1 Glow Makeup. What we love most about this clip is how real and unfiltered it is. Although Madix had moisturized lips and tan skin without any visible dry patches, her complexion had a slight redness and a little texture on both cheeks — a relatable experience for so many people.

Luckily for us though, Madix is no gatekeeper. She's spoken out about the other beauty products she loves, including the skincare items that keep her looking beautiful sans cosmetics. The star told Good Housekeeping she washes her face with TONYMOLY I'm Rice Exfoliating Enzyme Cleanser and also uses VT COSMETICS' microneedling serum, Reedle Shot 100. But the reality star knows maintaining great skin is all about consistency. "The biggest thing for me, though, is not necessarily all of the different steps. It's about being consistent in the steps and doing all of these things, or at least most of these things, every day," she said. And that's why she looks so ravishing even without makeup.
