Summer 2025 Pedicure Trends That Will Stun

With summer officially in full swing, it's time to shelf your spring 2025 pedicure trends and set a different mood for the hot and humid days ahead. While the previous season's pedicure colors were all about being bold and statement-making, for the warmer months, we're taking things in another direction, one that embraces more of a low-key look. 

"This summer, we're seeing a shift toward intentional minimalism with a twist," celebrity nail artist and salon owner Lisa Kon exclusively tells Women. "Clients are looking for designs that feel clean and polished, but also expressive — whether through texture, subtle sparkle, or abstract art." While past summers and even earlier this calendar year were all about stand-out pedicures where neons and maximalist art were front and center, looks now are being toned down a bit. "Summer 2025 is all about elevated simplicity and individuality," says Kon.

Although no one is telling you that you must ditch the bright reds, hot pinks, or your beloved black pedicure, if those are your signature colors, but if you like staying on top of trends, then you're going to want to shake things up. After all, if you plan to rock the hottest dress trends for summer 2025, you want your pedicure to follow suit.

If you're looking for a pedicure that's subtle, yet refreshing during the sweltering dog days of summer, look no further than a milky glow shade. Unlike bright or matte white, which can come across as too bold, these hues have a slightly glossy sheen that makes them appear closer to a natural nail. "Soft milky pinks, sheer whites, and translucent nudes with a subtle pearl shimmer are in high demand," says Lisa Kon. "They look clean, elongate the toes, and pair beautifully with both sandals and bare feet on the beach." This is also a color that matches every skin tone and is so on par with quiet luxury, that it will perfectly complement any timeless sophistication looks you rock this summer.

Although we've seen a lot of different takes on French tips, including the reverse French manicure and the deconstructed French manicure, at its core, whether it's on your hands or your feet, the white stripe never goes out of style.  For 2025, though, the micro tip is here to stay, too. "[It's] a modern take on the classic French tip — very thin, barely-there lines in white, gold, or even neon for a pop," Lisa Kon exclusively tells Women. "It's chic, summery, and works well with all skin tones." In other words, if you can't live without a bit of neon on your toes, here's your chance to make that happen in an elevated way.

Chrome nails first started popping up in 2023 and the magical metallic look isn't going anywhere soon for a good reason: Along with being so cool-looking, it literally goes with everything. "Whether it's soft champagne or bold silver, chrome pedicures are trending," Lisa Kon exclusively tells Women.com. "They reflect the light beautifully and give an effortless 'vacation-ready' look." Chrome finishes also deliver a futuristic vibe that's has a cutting edge feel to it. So if you're someone who keeps their look classic and preppy, a chrome pedicure is an easy way to add some flavor to the mix.

Just because the pedicure trend of summer 2025 is leaning more toward minimalism, doesn't mean you have to avoid all colors and not have any fun. In fact, experimenting with negative space by adding a few colorful dots can give you a clean, polished look without skimping on the fun component. "These designs are breathable, stylish, and perfect for warmer months when clients want something light yet creative," says Lisa Kon.

Sometimes smaller is absolutely better and that's definitely the case when it comes to embellishing a pedicure. "Tiny crystals or minimalist foil details add just enough glam without being over-the-top," says Lisa Kon tells Women, adding that these looks are great for all summer events, including weddings. If you want to leverage your summer 2025 pedicure, then a little dab of sparkles or a floral design here and there will serve up some seriously cutesy and demure nail looks that will have you inundated with compliments.
