The Gaudy Dress Style Kimberly Guilfoyle Can't Let Go Of

Though we can't fault people in the public eye for having a go-to outfit, Kimberly Guilfoyle's choice formula may be due for an upgrade. The American TV personality turned Ambassador to Greece repeatedly turns to little white dresses with tons of bedazzlement — no matter the occasion. It's not that there's absolutely no variety. Guilfoyle has been seen wearing sleeveless, strapless, and long sleeve variations, but the dresses are all ultra-short, white, and glitzy — like something you'd see at a bridal shower. She pairs them with high heels and her mega-glam (overly glam, at times) makeup look. 

In April 2024, Guilfoyle posted a pic to Instagram to honor the end-of-season gala at Havana Nights, and she wore a white, mini dress featuring a plunging neckline with lots of jewels and sparkles sewn onto the garment. The patterned continued months later. In June 2024, actor Eduardo Verástegui posted a photo of himself, Guilfoyle, and her then-fiancé, Don Trump, Jr, which showed the news personality wearing a halter neck version of the same style white mini dress. That same month, Guilfoyle wished President Donald Trump a happy birthday, and posted a photo standing next to him while wearing — you guessed it — a white, mini dress; only this one had floral detailing on the bodice. The list goes on and on. A scroll through her social media shows Guilfoyle repeatedly going for this style; the dresses are an unflattering choice because they sometimes look juvenile on Guilfoyle. In other instances, they run the risk of being too short for the gravitas of political events. And sometimes, especially when the dresses are super bejeweled, they can look quite tacky. 

Kimberly Guilfoyle has had a transformation over the years that's a sight to see. And since she's joined the MAGA camp, joining Donald Trump's inner circle, it seems like her overall fashion sense has declined. The outfits that Guilfoyle wore around Trump's 2025 Inauguration ceremony are some of her most questionable looks to date. While we're narrowing in on her love of flamboyant, white mini dresses, she's also sported other unfortunate dresses. In January 2025, she wore a long, frilly dress that made for one of the more memorably tacky choices of Guilfoyle's. It seems like she really struggles to hit the right tone when it comes to wardrobe styling. Her outfits are often too sultry for the event, or just plain tasteless. 

In May 2024, Guilfoyle posted about her children's book, "The Princess & Her Pup," while wearing a glitzy white, strapless mini dress. This was a prime example of Guilfoyle garbing herself in the wrong look for what the occasion required. The dress was a bizarre choice for promoting a children's book. For one, a strapless, mini dress with sequins and feather trim seems more appropriate for an evening party, rather than an ad for a children's item. We love corset-style tops, but part of fashion is knowing when to wear what, and this was simply the wrong setting for such a flirty dress. Guilfoyle would be better off with longer silhouettes and a wider range of color choices.
