Vanderpump Rules Alum Stassi Schroeder Has Had A Stunning Hair Transformation

"Vanderpump Rules" alum Stassi Schroeder became known for her signature blond hair upon starring in the Bravo series in 2013, but she's undergone quite a transformation over the years. Although the Bravolebrity has kept her locks lightened, she's not afraid of experimenting with different shades, from breezy dream girl blond to platinum. Fans are so used to seeing Schroeder with icy hair that many may not know her natural color is more of a dirty blond or bronde, as she revealed in a 2020 Instagram post during the COVID pandemic. 

Schroeder appears to have started dying her hair at a young age, appearing on "The Amazing Race" in 2005 with inky black locks. Since phasing out her goth appearance, though, Schroeder has never gone back to black. 

When asked by Buzzfeed in 2019 if she would consider returning to brunette, she said, "I think about it all the time, like, how fun it would be but honestly, no. I just feel like — you know, branding! So I gotta stick with the blonde. Maybe, like, a good fake brunette for like a day, to trick people, I don't know." Blond hair definitely suits Schroeder, so it's no surprise she played around with different variations of the hue as she went from reality television star to a stunning mom of two.

When Season 1 of "Vanderpump Rules" aired in 2013, Stassi Schroeder stole the spotlight with her fiery personality and glossy blond locks. As the only cast member with fair hair at the time, she definitely stood out. Back then, Schroeder's tresses were colored a warm caramel shade with subtle, natural-looking highlights. With her slightly darkened roots and the gradual lightening toward the ends, Schroeder's shoulder-length hair took on a gorgeous three-dimensional quality that screamed quiet luxury.

A year after her debut on "Vanderpump Rules," Stassi Schroeder dipped her toe into short hair with a lob. Schroeder showed off her new 'do in an Instagram post in February of that year with the caption, "Told @tracehenningsen to make my NYFW hair match my personality: icy & blunt AF." 

The cut and color obviously made an impression on fans, with several commenting that it was her best look ever. In 2020, one fan commented on the post writing, "STASSI. Please go back to this I'm literally obsessed."

Although fans loved Stassi Schroeder's platinum blond era, she eventually went darker yet again in 2023, with multi-colored bronde hair. She kept the majority of her hair a light brunette shade, weaving in honey and golden highlights with just a hint of money pieces surrounding her face. Not only did the color look great, but Schroeder nailed one of 2023's most stunning hair color trends by blending in her subtle highlights.

Schroeder had also grown out her hair and incorporated layers to add some texture and volume. "Just out here trying to own my hot mom era," she shared on Instagram. At the time, she was pregnant with her son Messer, while her daughter Hartford was just a toddler, so it's totally understandable why she wanted to keep her hair easy breezy.

Stassi Schroeder may have quipped in 2019 that she'd never go brunette, but 2025 saw her with a luxe shade of chocolate brown that was the epitome of stealth wealth. The darker color brought out the sheen in her hair, and she had it cut in long layers that were perfect for wearing straight or in loose curls. On April 18, Schroeder showed off her fresh style in an Instagram post, with her hair in a half-up do that featured sandy highlights. "I absolutely love your hair color. It suits you perfectly!" a fan raved.
