The first woman crowned "American Idol" has closed a significant chapter of her career, but she's entering a new one with more style than ever. Much has been made of the above-the-shoulder bob Kelly Clarkson debuted on one of her first public appearances since the final episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" aired in August 2026, but her outfit was equally intriguing. Clarkson stepped onto the stage on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" wearing a sleek black minidress with an asymmetrical hem and billowing sleeves, paired with sheer black tights and bold black stiletto pumps.

"I'm kind of the person that could show up in, like, sequins and, like, bedazzled out, or I could show up in jeans and a T-shirt, I don't know [yet]," she told Meyers.
