Then & Now: Side-By-Side Pics Prove Susan Lucci Is Aging Like Fine Wine
When it comes to daytime soap veterans, the name Susan Lucci would most likely come to mind. She made her name as the show-stopping Erica Kane from "All My Children", a role she would master for a little over 40 years . And with decades on TV, we have seen Lucci age before our very eyes, and she seems to be looking better and better each year. At almost 80 as of this report, it's certainly fitting to say that the Emmy winner is aging like fine wine.
As seen in the image above, Lucci is pictured in 1978 (left) and in 2026 (right), and she is as beautiful as ever. The "Outcome" star has some signs of aging around the neck and eye areas, but overall, she hardly looks her age. And similar to these five celebs who bared all about their plastic surgery procedures, Lucci isn't afraid to tell the world her secret to looking so fabulous and why she's one of the celebs confronting aging with confidence.
Susan Lucci shares her beauty secrets
As a celebrity with one of the longest careers on TV, Susan Lucci has had ample time to know what works and what doesn't on her skin. And while the "Devious Maids" star thanks her parents for blessing her with such amazing skin, Lucci does believe that what you consume is a big factor on how your skin will look like later in life. "I think what you eat is really important," Lucci shared with NewBeauty. "It can be very helpful, not just to your overall health but to your skin. And hydrating is really important."
And Lucci's diet certainly reflects this, as the 21-time Daytime Emmy nominee has publicly revealed that she is an avid proponent of the Mediterranean way of eating. "Salmon, blueberries and kale," Lucci shared with Fox News when she outlined her diet, which largely veers away from dairy while prioritizing vegetables and fruits. Not only has it proven to be beneficial for her skin, but also for her general health, showing just why Lucci is setting a great example for all women to follow.
