The 1960s were a vibrant era in and out of Hollywood. From everlasting fashion trends from the '60s still perfect for older women today to a slew of memorable Hollywood icons, the '60s were filled with times not soon to be forgotten. And one of those memorable icons was Katharine Ross, who most would remember as the beautiful and charming Elaine Robinson from 1967's "The Graduate." SinceRoss has receded from the spotlight, some may be wondering what the star may look like now.

Ross made an appearance alongside her husband of more than 40 years, "Landman" actor Sam Elliott, at the 2026 Actor Awards. "The Stepford Wives" star appears just as gorgeous and confident as ever and seems to be one of the celebs embracing their graying natural hair. Ross wore a sharp suit with a white top with a ruffled neckline underneath. She added blue hoop earrings to complete the look. It's clear that Ross' timeless beauty endures as she looks amazing for her age.

Katharine Ross abides by set rules for healthy living

Although Katharine Ross has never detailed her beauty routine, the "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" star was a stickler for healthy living. And it's no wonder, considering the star turned 86 in January 2026. In an exclusive sit-down with Lydia Lane back in 1965, Ross revealed that good, healthy habits had been instilled in her since she was a child. "My parents were very wise and would not allow me to eat all the junk school girls like to put in their stomachs. I had health food, no starchy snacks and very little candy," she shared.

Additionally, Ross stated that she prized her sleep, but understood that her life as an actor might not be conducive to getting a full eight hours every night. To ensure she at least got some measure of rest, the "Voyage of the Damned" actor detailed the exercise that helped her immensely. "Stand or sit with your spine erect, arms at your side. Raise your shoulders as high as you can and try to push them right into your ears," Ross exclusively shared with Lydia Lane, then added, "Inhale as you go up. Exhale as you slowly lower your shoulders; repeat several times." The Oscar-nominated actor stated this would help the body relax enough to fall asleep, and we're inclined to believe her.
