What Sondra From The Cosby Show Looks Like Decades After The Show
Sabrina Le Beauf, who played Sondra Huxtable on the sitcom "The Cosby Show," will always be remembered for her distinctive features and smile and, of course, her 'romantic preppy' wardrobe style, which was intentionally curated by the show's costume designer Sarah Lemire. "I'm trying to give her some sophistication, as she is the oldest sister," Lemire told the Orlando Sentinel back in 1987 about Sondra's look, which leaned into classic '80s and early '90s staples.
Le Beauf was 26 when she landed the role as the oldest daughter of Cliff and Clair Huxtable. She was just 10 years younger than Phylicia Rashad, who played her mother, Clair. However, Le Beauf pulled off the smart, level-headed Princeton University college student pretty well, thanks to her Ivy League flair-meets-collegiate-style aesthetics that evolved as she progressed into a mom to the show's much-adored twins, Winnie and Nelson.
These days, Le Beauf is in her late 60s, unmarried (she divorced in the mid-'90s), and living in New York City. On social media, the former sitcom star shares snippets of her down-to-earth life while showing followers what she looks like decades after "The Cosby Show" ended. "Man, I finally found my childhood crush. Good lawd I was infatuated with Sondra," one fan gushed on a March 2021 Instagram post. "Wow... still gorgeous as always!" said another. Like many celebs who look gorgeous with their natural hair, Le Beauf wears her curly brunette hair with light-brown highlights and still carries the effortless, understated beauty she was known for during her heyday.
Life for Le Beauf after 'The Cosby Show'
Unlike her TV siblings, Sabrina Le Beauf was already well into her 30s when "The Cosby Show" ended in 1992. While filming the hit series, she met producer Michael Reynolds in 1987, and the two were married weeks later. The marriage lasted for almost 10 years. She continued acting for some time, notably in theatre roles with the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., while also studying interior design at UCLA.
Le Beauf now keeps a pretty low profile, making only the occasional theatre outing. Below, the thespian talent was spotted in 2017 at the Pasadena Playhouse for the staging of "The Originalist." Though older, Le Beauf exudes a sense of nostalgia, still resembling her younger self when she played the memorable Sondra Huxtable.

Seen here in a tie-wrap top with a relaxed black blazer and matching trousers, Le Beauf, now sports her own personal style. The '90s star's wardrobe has come down quite a few notches from her days on "The Cosby Show," reflecting more current-looking trends and refined aesthetics, as well as her more mature image. Elsewhere, she often favors laid-back looks comprising casual shift dresses, denims, and round-neck tees, complete with scarves and trench coats when the season calls for it.
