'Looks Are Not Everything': Bunnie Xo's Dating Philosophy Is So Refreshing

Bunnie Xo is an absolute stunner, hands down. She may not have had any challenges when it came to dating before marrying rapper Jelly Roll in 2016, but interestingly enough, she said she never dated anyone for their looks. Sharing her unfiltered advice during a Playboy Q&A in April 2026, the podcast host took on sensitive topics about love, sex, sobriety, and more. For one fan who was concerned about his looks and how to impress women, Bunnie Xo assured him there was so much more he could bring to the table. "Make a woman laugh. Looks are not everything," she said. "I've never dated a man for their looks. I've always dated a man for how he made me feel."

The influencer also flipped the script and advised against dating a woman who was caught up with appearances. "If a woman is only dating you for your looks, you need to find another woman, because looks fade, especially when you get older. If you're going to grow old with somebody, not everybody's going to be hot when they're old," she said. This is not the first time the podcaster's words have been refreshing, Bunnie Xo's candid plastic surgery confessions also struck a chord in the right way. 

Bunnie Xo has always been an open book about her life and relationship with Jelly Roll. Speaking with Extra in February 2026, the former escort said the musician not only "saved" her, but always made her feel comfortable being her true self while they were dating. "My husband saved me because he let me be myself," Bunnie told the outlet. "He never tried to come in and be like, 'you can't do this,' 'you need to change who you are.' He always loved me where I was at, and the way that he loved me made me want to change for him."

The podcaster said the two dated even when he was on tour, always making time for each other while respecting each other's careers. "He just always respected what I did as a hustler, and I always respected what he did, and we both have never tried to change each other. So, for that I'm thankful," she continued.

It's no secret the pair dated when Jelly Roll was on the much chunkier side. The singer has since lost 265 pounds as of January 2026, according to Men's Health – after weighing over 500 pounds at his heaviest in 2023. As someone who isn't superficial, it was something Bunnie Xo was the least bit concerned about. The two wed after just a month of dating and were married for 10 years. They filed for divorce in May 2026, and along with her refreshing dating philosophy, Bunnie Xo has also been rewriting the script for divorce for women in their 40s.
