In the image above, the former Spice Girl proudly shows that older women can rock long manicured nails done in bright baby pink, and not have to confine themselves to neutral colors or shorter nail lengths. The color she chose is in sharp contrast to her dark hair and black top, making your eyes instantly drawn to them. And it's clear Beckham is making a statement with what's making waves as the 'petal nail' trend. "The petal nail trend blends two key elements: a soft floral pink and a medium-length almond shape," Daisy Kalnina, founder of nail polish brand The Gelbottle Inc, exclusively shares with Harper's Bazaar. "It's a step away from the recent 'invisible' nail trend, and instead, embraces a definitive opacity that feels fresh and ultra-feminine."

It's not the first time Victoria Beckham has debuted a minimalist nail look that's left fans obsessed. The successful entrepreneur has dabbled in popular nail trends in the past, though they've never involved complex nail art designs. Beckham has shown that she thinks of every little detail regarding her looks, down to making sure her nails match the outfit. And as we've seen from the fashion designer, simple nail looks are sometimes all you need.

On her personal Instagram account, the fashion designer posted a carousel of her family vacation to St. Tropez in August 2025. In one of the pictures, Beckham is seen lying down with her hat obscuring her eyes, her short, light creamy pink nails on full display. It's reminiscent of the 'soap nail' trend, which is the ultimate minimalist manicure trend, known for its 'clean' aesthetic. Once again, Beckham showed that aging doesn't mean you have to follow the rule book of what to wear or do, and she demonstrates this very well with her trailblazing nail looks.
