Paget Brewster Said 'No Thanks' To Dying Her Gray Hair & It Looks Gorgeous
In a world that regularly nitpicks a woman's looks with a fine-tooth comb, Paget Brewster isn't one to follow the herd and surrender to beauty pressures. Brewster joins this list of celebs who have embraced their graying natural hair color, and she's not looking back. Her Instagram account shows the "Criminal Minds" actor proudly showcasing her gray hair in intimate, close-up selfies of herself. The image below is one such example — the actor posted this picture of herself in November 2024, grinning as she looks up at something, her thick gray curls framing her face.
"I like my gray hair," Brewster candidly shared in an X (formerly Twitter) post. "I have felt pressure to dye it, pretend to be 35 again, no thanks." She then encouraged her fans to be considerate of others, and fellow actor Melanie Lynskey showed her appreciation to Brewster in the comments beneath her post, while noting that Brewster's hair looked "glorious." Fans were effusive with praise about Brewster's stance, with one X user commenting, "I love watching real, beautiful, strong women who look their age ... Thank you for that." It appears there have been a rising tide of celebs welcoming aging with confidence, with Rosie O'Donnell also embracing her gray hair in a perfect way.
Paget Brewster has thoughts on plastic surgery
Considering the fact that Paget Brewster is more than fine with aging, it comes as no surprise that she has some opinions on plastic surgery. The "Friends" star made another post addressing this issue on X, where she proudly proclaimed that she has no intention of going under the knife. "It's hard getting older and not doing injections or surgery, but I choose that," Brewster wrote in the caption, before adding that she's still feeling "very sexy."
It' not the only time she has referenced plastic surgery on her X account. In a 2024 post, Brewster confessed that while she's accepted aging and everything that comes with it, she can't deny that she has never considered getting a little extra help. "I'm pretty happy about how I look without cosmetic surgery but I also get tempted to 'be prettier,'" she candidly wrote. "Lip injections, Botox, but IDK if I could really do it." It seems Brewster ultimately chose to stick to her guns in the end, as seen in a 2025 Instagram selfie. Not only is she confidently showcasing her gray hair, but she is all smiles as she flaunts how gracefully she is aging.
