Kim Kardashian's Biggest Hair Regret Was One Of Her Boldest Swings

It's no secret that Kim Kardashian is nearly unrecognizable without hair extensions, but her 2022 look for the Met Gala left viewers in a frenzy. For the event, Kardashian decided to pay homage to the late Marilyn Monroe by wearing her "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" dress. Her decision to wear the dress caused a lot of heads to turn in more ways than one. While people's main concern was maintaining the integrity of the archival dress, Kardashian revealed that her regret was elsewhere. 

As People reported, during Season 7 of "The Kardashians", Kim revealed that she wished she'd worn the dress with a different hairstyle. "I will bring this up til the end of time. I don't know why, but everyone told me, 'Don't do Marilyn hair. You're gonna look like a wax figure of Marilyn.' We just thought we wanted to be blond," she expressed. Kardashian typically has dark to jet black hair, so the process of transitioning her hair to blonde was quite harsh on her natural hair.

Kim Kardashian underwent a total transformation after her divorce from Kanye West, and we're still seeing the results today. Part of her post-divorce glow-up has been reflected in her wardrobe and styling decisions. Though their divorce was finalized in 2022, Kardashian has continued to reflect on formerly styled looks she believes were not executed well. For example, in 2016, she aired out her regret over her decision to use laser hair removal to get rid of her baby hair around her hairline on her former website. At the time, her motivation for removing the hair was to stop getting acne on her forehead area. She has since regretted doing it as she claimed baby hairs give people a "youthful" look. 

Her hairstyle regrets surfaced again in 2018, after she decided to cut her naturally long hair into a blunt cut bob, which was a big shock to fans. She tweeted that she missed her long hair soon after the cut happened, but kept the style after the post. As time goes on, Kim Kardashian may have more style regrets, but she always manages to bounce back.
