Heather Locklear Has Faith In Lorenzo Lamas Romance, Despite Detractors

Love is in the air for seasoned actor Heather Locklear, and it seems she's pitching all her hopes on this new, exciting romance. The "Melrose Place" star has been dating Lorenzo Lamas, who is an actor himself, known for roles in TV series "Renegade" and "Big Time Rush". The pair was first linked back in April 2026 and they show no signs of stopping. But with the romance allegedly swamped with some of the biggest red flags in Hollywood relationships, it seems the couple might be on the path to heartbreak. A source close to Locklear isn't afraid of making their reservations about the pair known to the public and has exclusively told Closer all about it. 

The source made known that Locklear and Lamas have been spending a substantial amount of time together, from romantic getaways to staying overnight at each other's houses. But Lamas' spotty relationship history has sent alarm bells ringing, as the actor has had six failed marriages. "It doesn't look good on paper, but she doesn't care about any of that," the source reveals to the publication. And it seems Locklear is more than willing to risk it, seeing as she's as enchanted with Lamas as he hopefully is with her. "From her perspective, it's great that he's lived a full life and as she readily admits, she's far from a shrinking violet, either." 

While Lorenzo Lamas has had trouble with love in the past, so does Locklear. Locklear was previously married twice and to two rock legends at that. She was first married to Tommy Lee in 1986, who co-founded Mötley Crüe and served as its drummer. Unfortunately, despite Locklear's hopes to only get married once in her lifetime, it was not to be, as the pair split in 1993 after Locklear accused Lee of being unfaithful. Lee could be counted as one of the celebs who admitted to cheating on their partners, as he later admitted in 2004 that Locklear's accusations were true and that it was his fault their marriage broke down.

The "Dynasty" star then moved on to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. This marriage lasted much longer than her marriage to Lee, from 1994 to 2007. But it seemed Locklear hadn't given up on love, as after her marriage to Sambora, she managed to get engaged twice, though she never ended up walking down the aisle again. First, she got engaged to fellow "Melrose Place" alum Jack Wagner, then to former high school sweetheart Chris Heisser. And with her latest romance with Lamas appearing to heat up, we truly hope that Locklear has found her happily-ever-after.
