Reality TV Marriages That Are Actually Relationship Goals

It's a guilty pleasure, but it's so fun to get a peek inside someone else's romantic relationship. Whether you're the kind of person who likes to see rich housewives navigate their unrelatable luxurious lives and social circles, or you're all about the making of an actual relationship, there really is a flavor of reality TV for everyone.

And let's be honest, it's hard not to get invested in reality TV relationships. Although it might seem a bit parasocial, it's only natural when you've watched a couple get together, fight, and make up throughout several seasons of your favorite show. From the Bravo marriages we knew would always go up in flames to "The Bachelor" couples who look like they stay together just long enough to fulfill their contract or secure a few brand deals, it's easy to feel like there really are no happily ever afters in the genre.

It may feel like a dime in a dozen, but healthy reality TV marriages do exist. Ones in which both partners exude happiness . Some of these marriages are going on to celebrate 20+ years together, which is practically an eternity in the world of reality TV. If you've been feeling like all of the reality TV relationships you've invested your time in have crashed and burned, we're here to shed some light on the ones that actually make it to the other side. These are the reality TV marriages that are actually relationship goals.

Trista Sutter & Ryan Sutter (The Bachelorette Season 1)

It has been a few decades since the very first season of "The Bachelorette" aired, and the show's first-ever couple, Trista and Ryan Sutter, just might be the show's ultimate relationship goals. From their very first meeting to their wedding day, reality TV fans were a part of every milestone of their romance. In 2026, the couple is still going strong.

Trista took to Instagram to celebrate 22 years of being a couple in December 2025. She shared a carousel of photos of the two and said, "22 years of love, friendship, compromise, trust, forgiveness, laughter, safety, peace, adventure, passion, joy, and so much more. No matter the ups and downs, I wouldn't want to do life with anyone else." But just like any other couple, life hasn't been a walk in the park for these two.

They clearly make the effort to be together. On a February 2025 episode of the "Amy & T.J." podcast, Ryan shared that there was a difficult period in their relationship when he struggled to figure out his place in life, and it ended up forcing Trista to think about whether they were really meant to spend forever together. Ryan didn't hesitate and admitted he simply had "to wake up and grow up a little bit" and credited Trista for giving him the time to do so. If that kind of understanding isn't relationship goals, we're not sure what is.

Amber Lee Diamond & Ethan Diamond (Are You The One? Season 1)

"Are You The One?" was MTV's dating series that helped contestants find their perfect matching using a formula created by analyzing in-depth interviews with the contestants and compatibility testing. Of the total 9 seasons that have aired, Amber Lee Diamond and Ethan Diamond from the very first season remain the show's gold standard and total relationship goals, but it wasn't an easy road to a happily ever after ending.

In a 2021 essay penned for HuffPost, Amber revealed their success stemmed from prioritizing a private connection over a TV storyline. She noted that a make-or-break moment for many reality TV pairs occurs when the show actually airs. For Amber and Ethan, they also dealt with a lot of hate as an interracial couple, but they prioritized communicating with one another and refused to let outside noise create a divide. Amber even said they'd be willing to do another reality TV show as long as it was a bit more family-focused.

The couple got engaged at the reunion of their season in April 2014 and announced they were expecting their first child later that year. Since then, the couple has welcomed two more children and even had the wedding of their dreams for their 10-year anniversary. Amber, who is now a full-time influencer, and Ethan, working as a sales director, live in Austin with their three children. Based on Amber's posts, it seems they've cultivated a life in which family always comes first.

Lisa Vanderpump & Ken Todd (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)

From marriages that ended with domestic violence accusations to all of the alleged cheating allegations, Bravo's "Housewives" franchise can feel like a graveyard for marriages. But Lisa Vanderpump, who's a celeb mom that proved frumpy mother of the bride looks are a thing of the past, and Ken Todd of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" are one of the outliers. Fans of the franchise frequently point to Todd's steadfast support for his wife, often quoting his iconic line, "Goodbye, Kyle!" after Vanderpump's falling out with her longtime friend, Kyle Richards.

The couple, who have been together for decades, are also business partners that operate more than 30 restaurants and bars and even a non-profit dog rescue. For a couple who live and work together, they've found a balance that most would find impossible. While Vanderpump and Todd also have a 16-year age gap, it seems Todd's maturity is what kept the couple grounded through all of life's ups and downs.

In a 2018 episode of Stassi Schroeder's podcast, "Straight Up with Stassi," Vanderpump said (via Bravo), "You know the greatest gift Ken Todd ever gave me?...he met me halfway on everything. He never put me down, he never belittled me, he would take me to meetings and ask my opinion." Clearly, Todd knew from the beginning that a partnership isn't about who leads, but about moving together as a team.

Cara Delahoyde-Massey & Nathan Massey (Love Island Season 2)

If you're a fan of the "Love Island" franchise, then you're obviously familiar with Cara De La Hoyde-Massey and Nathan Massey, who were the winners of the second season of "Love Island" in 2016. The two briefly took a break, which was a smart relationship strategy that helped them realize they were actually meant for each other. After that rough patch, they got back together and welcomed a child, then got married in 2019. But the couple have been vocal about how their relationship isn't always a "summer of love.

While many reality TV couples spend time curating the perfect life for their Instagram feeds, Cara, who has amassed more than a million followers on the social media platform, prefers to keep it real. She has always been outspoken about her mental health struggles and shared with Mirror in 2022 that Nathan is one of her biggest supporters when she's struggling. He takes a step back and lets her have her space to prevent a downward spiral. This level of support from a romantic partner is more valuable than a thousand Birkins.

Their two children have also been massively helpful for Cara's mental health. The couple, who are both on Instagram, focus on creating family content that highlights the unfiltered, messy, and joyful side of parenthood. Nathan often takes to Instagram to show all of the love and appreciation he has for Cara. He'll share snaps of her and call her "the nucleus of the family."

Catherine Giudici & Sean Lowe (The Bachelor Season 17)

Catherine Giudici and Sean Lowe are another couple America watched fall for each other and then say "I do" on television. Perhaps one of the most successful couples of "The Bachelor," the two met on season 17 of the hit ABC show. As of 2026, the couple resides in Dallas with their three children. The two are quite the power influencer couple with more than two million followers combined, and also run a home furnishing company called Home by Sean and Catherine Lowe together.

In an exclusive 2026 interview with People, the couple gave fans of the hit TV show an inside look into how they've made it work after celebrating 12 years of marriage. Catherine shared the best thing about meeting on a reality TV show is that "everything is documented! It's so special to be able to relive our interactions." And, when Sean was asked how the couple emerged as one of the few success stories in a sea of breakups, he confidently said, "My wife. I married the most selfless, supportive, loving woman in the world."

While they may have beaten the odds and found their happily ever after, Sean also didn't recommend going on reality TV to find true love. The couple always shares their life with fans on Instagram. They're all about spending time with their kids and celebrating even the smallest joyous moments like Sean sharing a video of his very first daddy-daughter dance with their little girl.

Lauren Speed-Hamilton & Cameron Hamilton (Love is Blind Season 1)

Netflix's most popular dating show, "Love is Blind" successfully produced a couple that is absolutely relationship goals in their very first season. Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton met while filming the show in October 2018 and got engaged less than a week after their first meeting. By the following month, they were married. While it may sound like a recipe for disaster, the Hamiltons have that proven love makes anything possible.

The couple's 2020 Glamour interview made it obvious why they got their happily ever after. Lauren shared that whether it was on or off camera, Cameron was always willing to go "above and beyond to really let me know that I'm loved and valued." That level of emotional investment is usually the missing ingredient in reality TV showmances, yet it's what was able to solidify their love story. Cameron explained that he knew Lauren was the one on their second date, which was when they had a heartfelt conversation about family.

Since 2018, they've been happily married, and after years of struggling with infertility and a miscarriage, they welcomed a son in 2025. When Lauren shared the exciting news of the birth on Instagram, more than a million people liked the post, and fans flooded the comments section with the most positive congratulatory messages for the "Love is Blind" couple. A comment with more than 800 likes wrote, "'Love is Blind' gave us the world's best couple." It sure did.
