Victoria Beckham Rises Above The Affair Rumors About Her Husband

Victoria and David Beckham have been long-time fixtures in the spotlight, dazzling onlookers with their combined star power and seemingly idyllic marriage. But when a cheating scandal rocked their marriage — and the world — in 2003, the possibility of Victoria and David Beckham's relationship being full of red flag behavior became undeniable. David Beckham allegedly had an extramarital affair with their then PA, Rebecca Loos, which could explain the strange things about the Beckhams' marriage thereafter. While Loos went to the media to spill everything about their purported affair, David firmly denied that a tryst ever happened between them. Despite his denial, the rumors negatively impacted the pair's marriage, but Victoria stood firm in their relationship during such turbulent times. 

The former Spice Girl sat down for an intimate conversation on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast, and unexpectedly touched upon her husband's alleged infidelity. While the fashion designer admitted that it was the "hardest period" of her life and her marriage, she claimed she and her husband were able to forge through the difficulties and go on to this day because of their strong bond. "28 years! We've had so much thrown at us," the accomplished businesswoman shared with Cooper, "and we've always just been there together and ridden the storm."

Although Victoria Beckham was able to withstand the chaos engendered by her husband's purported affair, the Beckham clan has since experienced another terrible rift, seemingly putting her marriage to the test once again. The pair's increasingly strained relationship with their eldest son, Brooklyn — which allegedly began between Victoria and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz over a wedding dress — has been a public battle, with Brooklyn even posting a statement on his Instagram refusing to reconcile with his parents. Insiders close to the couple exclusively told Radar Online that the Beckham matriarch's marriage has been put through the wringer, to the point where divorce isn't out of the realm of possibility. 

Still, it seems Victoria is once again taking a firm stance against the rumors. She has nothing but good things to say about her husband and why there is a reason their marriage has endured through tough times. In an exclusive spread with Elle dated to September 2025, Victoria acknowledged that people change throughout a marriage but there is one thing about David that has contributed to the strength of their union. "He believed in me when a lot of people didn't. He invested in me," she told the publication, "At times I've been a laughingstock, people not taking my business seriously, but he always believed in me." In May 2026, she even shared a post to Instagram celebrating David's birthday.
