Lauren Boebert's Outdated Style Hit Its Peak With Coat Seen In Every 2000s High School Hallway

From Lauren Boebert's woefully dated outfits to breaking fashion rules in a borderline inappropriate work attire, it's no secret that the U.S. Representative's fashion sense needs a desperate pick-me-up. But it appears that she has continued to demonstrate her penchant for outdated styles that have never flattered her in the first place. In this short clip uploaded on X (formerly Twitter), Boebert paused to respond to a question about the possible fate of her fellow Republican politician, Cory Mills, who's under fire over domestic violence allegations. Although she made a firm stance deploring Mills' conduct, it's her outfit that's dulling the impact of her bold words.

Aside from her usual glasses and a pair of hoop earrings, Boebert wore a washed-out plaid coat that totally belongs in every 2000s high school hallway. What's even worse, she chose to pair it with a bright, hot pink dress underneath. Not only does this outfit demand an intervention from the fashion police, but it also shows that, despite a career in the public eye, Boebert does not feel the need to improve her wardrobe.

Lauren Boebert's wardrobe is outdated, but so is her behavior

Lauren Boebert isn't only drawing headlines for outdated wardrobe choices, but also for outdated, and frankly, terrible behaviors that have put her in hot water. Although she decried her colleagues' abominable conduct, the politician's track record has made her look quite hypocritical. Boebert's name was all over the headlines in September 2023 after she and her date were expelled from a "Beetlejuice" musical performance in Denver. The reason? Inappropriate, illicit behavior in public, being a general nuisance, and showing entitlement when confronted by other spectators.

And it seems Boebert's son, Tyler, has also had a long record of run-ins with the law, with the most recent one dated to February 2026, where Tyler was charged with child abuse over his treatment of his toddler son. This proves Tyler's second child abuse charge and another PR disaster for Boebert, who had gone on "The Rubin Report" and praised Tyler and her grandson's mother for being "responsible" parents.
