So much so she's had to deny altering her looks more than once. "I've never had any plastic surgery. Not a nose, not a chin, not a cheek ... So my messages of self-empowerment are truly coming from an au naturel product," she told GQ in 2014. The "Lifetimes" singer again denied going under the knife to Refinery29 four years later.

But her rebuttal certainly hasn't stopped the chatter, and photos show why. Over the years, the former "American Idol" judge turned space tourist has gone from a fresh faced, wide-eyed youngster to a stunning woman with a chiseled jaw and cheekbones, making for one major face transformation.

In 2002, a year after Katy Perry first hit the scene, she had a youthful glow in minimal makeup during a photo session. Her wide, round eyes and naturally long, fluttery eyelashes proved Perry's eyes still shine without false lashes. Her skin also had natural radiance, which she told Refinery29 was down to Proactiv's Daily Foaming Cleanser and a healthy diet. Even though she had dark hair (which can easily wash out some skin tones), her complexion appeared bright and blemish-free, while her eyebrows had a soft, natural shape.

Two years later, Katy Perry was experimenting more with her face. She wore heavier makeup on the Hollywood Prom red carpet, including dewy foundation that highlighted her enviable skin, which looked hydrated with subtle pores. Perry also made a big change to her eyebrows. The fuller, soft shape had been heavily plucked, and the ends were much thinner. She also appeared to have dyed them darker; the singer told Glamour she's naturally a light brunette (she's also a star who's unrecognizable with her natural hair color).

Though she hasn't publicly confirmed using Ozempic, Perry told fans the secret to her smooth skin while on stage the month prior. "I got fresh Botox for Australia!" she said (via Daily Mail). Her skin appeared smooth all over, but particularly on her forehead, where there was barely a fine line or wrinkle. She also had relatable, visible pores across her cheeks.
