Gorgeous Before & After Pics Of Millennial Celebs Who Dissolved Their Filler
For a while, it seemed like almost all of our favorite stars were getting filler. In fact, there are countless celebs we wouldn't even recognize without lip filler. But times are changing. Though filler is still rife in the beauty community, there's been a notable uptick in familiar faces dissolving it — and millennials (those born between 1980 and 1995) are one of the generations leading the charge.
"Many patients have come to me over the last few years asking for me to dissolve fillers that they have gotten in the past," board-certified dermatologist Dr. Marnie Nussbaum, who specializes in non-invasive aesthetic rejuvenation, told InStyle in 2025. "They don't feel themselves and actually perceive themselves looking older with this over-volumized face as opposed to younger." Aesthetic doctor Dr. David Jack shared a similar sentiment with Elle, co-signing that too much volume in certain areas of the face can actually make clients look older. "I think years of badly done filler work are partly to blame, but also an awareness of fillers' potential to disproportionately age the appearance," he said of the increased rate of patients dissolving fillers.
Considering so many millennials take pride in looking younger than they are, it's no surprise many are removing the injectables that risk adding years to their appearance. Well, the facial fillers that can be dissolved, that is. And they've made no secret of it, either.
