Before & After Pics Of Celebs Who Lost Weight But Asserted They Didn't Use Ozempic

Ozempic has arguably become the hottest topic in Hollywood. While GLP-1 drugs, including Ozempic and Mounjaro, are prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes, the medication has become increasingly popular for its weight-loss side effects. In recent years, celebrities have totally transformed after taking Ozempic or other GLP-1s, and some famous faces have even bared all about their bad experiences with the drugs. More recently, celebrities and reality TV stars have sparked Ozempic rumors for their slim frames and chiseled cheekbones. But while some have admitted to taking the medication, personalities who have transformed their bodies through fitness routines and diets have been forced to speak out against the accusations.

With studies showing that one in 8 adults in the U.S. has used GLP-1s to lose weight, it's not surprising that the injectables have made their way into celebrity culture abroad. The drug has caused such a stir that the "Wicked: For Good" cast was even criticized for promoting eating disorders. The drugs' dramatic weight loss effects have become notorious for perpetuating unrealistic beauty standards.

The famous faces who have been pushed to publicly refute allegations of Ozempic use include reality TV sisters Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian, rapper Ice Spice, and British television personality Alison Hammond. British actors Kate Winslet and Jameela Jamil have not only addressed the rumors but also criticized the drugs for normalizing extreme thinness. With accusations mounting against them, sharing workout routines has become a common tactic among the celebrities denying the allegations.

Ice Spice

After being accused of taking GLP-1s to lose weight in 2024, Ice Spice pushed back against the rumors in an X Spaces audio chat with fans. "I wish y'all never learned the word Ozempic. That's one thing I wish," she wrote (via People). "It's called the gym. It's called eating healthy. It's called being on tour," she continued. Later in 2024, the rapper posted an Instagram reel showcasing her workout routine. In the now-deleted video, Ice stretched on a yoga mat and used a treadmill. "We beatin' them allegations bae," she wrote in the caption (via People).

Kylie Jenner

While speaking to British Vogue in 2024, Kylie Jenner revealed that she had been accused of taking GLP-1s after giving birth to her second child. "I feel like people didn't give me, or give women in general, enough empathy. I see pictures [online], and people are accusing me of being on drugs or something ..." she said. The reality star said she was working out to lose the extra weight she gained after her pregnancy. In 2021, a Kardashian-Jenner insider confirmed Jenner was determined to get fit and was being trained by a personal trainer more than three times per week.

Khloé Kardashian

Despite being transparent about editing her Instagram posts, Khloé Kardashian is among the many reality TV stars who sparked Ozempic rumors. When the TV personality shared a photo from her photoshoot with Sorbet Magazine on Instagram in 2023, she was hit with a barrage of comments accusing her of taking GLP-1s to lose weight. In response to the comment, "The fact she uses [diabetic] medication to get this skinny is disturbing," Kardashian wrote, "Let's not discredit my years of working out. I get up five days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions." (via BuzzFeed)

Julia Fox

In a 2023 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Italian American actor Julia Fox denied taking Ozempic. "I'm not, and I never have. I would never do that. There are diabetics that need it," she said, recognizing drugs' original purpose. In 2024, Fox addressed more rumors by sharing her fitness routine. The actor reassured fans that she does Solidcore, an intense workout performed on a reformer. "If I don't go to Solidcore, I have this machine that I got on the TikTok Shop that I use," the actor said in an Instagram Story (via The Daily Mail).

Alison Hammond

Iconic British television host Alison Hammond has lost 154 pounds since she received a pre-diabetes diagnosis. In addition to hiring a personal trainer, Hammond told The Telegraph that she has incorporated a range of fitness activities into her routine, including boxing, circuit training, and reformer pilates. When questioned about how she feels about Ozempic accusations, Hammond said she brushes them off. "They weren't happy with me being big; they weren't happy with me being small ... I was one point away from being diabetic, and my mom was diabetic," she said, noting that she had watched her mom struggle with the disease.

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet has taken a strong stance against Ozempic. In a 2025 interview with The Sunday Times, the British actor said the drug was "devastating." She added, "If a person's self-esteem is so bound up in how they look, it's frightening. The disregard for one's health is terrifying. It bothers me now more than ever." While appearing on the "How To Fail" podcast, Winslet told Elizabeth Day that she doesn't exercise to change her appearance, but to improve her strength for everyday tasks. "It's about not getting injured, so I don't hurt myself in my life," she said.

Ashley Tisdale

As the founder of wellness brand Frenshe, it's not surprising that "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale denied using GLP-1s to lose weight. In 2026, the actor criticized Ozempic for normalizing shifting body trends. "It's like we're back to chasing ultra-slim everything. We keep moving the goalposts, and it's exhausting," Tisdale wrote in a blog post titled "My Honest Thoughts On Ozempic". In addition to doing yoga, Tisdale told Women's Health that she hired a trainer for her morning workouts. "I don't really like to do crazy, sweaty workouts," the actor said. "It's very targeted, and slower," she added.

Bella Thorne

Former Disney Channel child star Bella Thorne slammed Ozempic for perpetuating the unrealistic beauty pressures on women. "So, I haven't been feeling good about my body for a while, and especially with everybody on Ozempic," she said in a video posted to her Instagram Story (via People). "It's, like, setting all these crazy beauty standards that nobody can keep up with unless you're on Ozempic," she added. Instead of taking medication, Thorne prefers to go to the gym. In a 2022 X post, the actor revealed, "Almost every day I have been to the gym in the last six weeks."

Jameela Jamil

As an activist and feminist, British actor Jameela Jamil is firmly against Ozempic and other GLP-1s and used Instagram to warn women and girls against the risks associated with using the drugs to lose weight (via People). The actor warned that hospitals are not only seeing medicine shortages, but "fat phobia has our generation in a chokehold." On Instagram in the past, Jamil has encouraged others to join her guilt-free approach to fitness. She said her approach to exercise includes stepping away from toxic diet cultures and tight gymwear. "It is disgusting that vanity has taken over exercise," she wrote.
