Rosie O'Donnell's 'Mounjaro Face' Transformation Is Undeniable

Hollywood has seen a plethora of celebrities who have totally transformed after taking Ozempic and Mounjaro. Comedian Rosie O'Donnell has long struggled with her weight, but after finally achieving the results she'd always wanted via Mounjaro, the mom-of-five appears happier than ever. However, her face tells a more complicated story.

The comedian has undergone an undeniable face transformation in recent years, ever since her doctor prescribed Mounjaro in 2022 to manage her diabetes. As of May 2025, O'Donnell confirmed she was still using the drug on Instagram, stating, "I can't believe this is me now #mounjaro." Months prior, while updating fans about life in Ireland, she mentioned she'd been gradually shedding the weight. "I've lost more weight. I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes, and one of the side effects is you lose weight," she said on TikTok. Also, noting "Now that I'm a size large, instead of an XL or a XXL, I find it completely shocking."

What's even more shocking is the impact the drug has had on her facial features. Side-by-side photos of the actor illustrate a classic case of what's known as "Mounjaro Face" — characterized by distinct volume loss and reduced elasticity in the face. In O'Donnell's case, this resulted in loose facial skin around the jaw and neck, increased wrinkles, and sunken cheeks, all contributing to an aged appearance. Other celebrities seeing similar results while using Ozempic have fallen victim to "Ozempic Face."

From younger stars like Rebel Wilson and Amy Schumer to older figures such as Oprah and Sharon Osbourne, many have experienced dramatic physical transformations. Osbourne revealed she never stopped losing weight after coming off the drug, at one point falling under 100 pounds. She and other celebs have bared all about their bad experiences with Ozempic and other GLP-1s; however, O'Donnell appears happy to have traded decades of weight management issues for a thinner look, even if it has resulted in a striking "Mounjaro Face."

Despite appearing much older than her actual age, she's never expressed regret. Instead, she has praised the tirzepatide, calling it a 'lifesaver,' and noted how great she feels since shedding the weight. In a May 2025 TikTok, she said, "I feel healthier. I'm sleeping better."

While some celebs look great after taking Ozempic or Mounjaro, not everyone has had good results. The adverse reactions linked to GLP-1s include constipation, nausea, and vomiting, while the aftermath has affected many on a deeper level. Model Lottie Moss confessed on her podcast Dream On with Lottie Moss that she ended up in the hospital, suffering a seizure after taking Ozempic. Meanwhile, actor Amy Schumer shared she stopped the drug due to debilitating nausea on "The Howard Stern Show."
