Meghan Trainor's Ozempic Transformation Haters Need To Find A Hobby

Meghan Trainor is nearly unrecognizable after her weight loss transformation, and we're here for it! Despite her being in love with her own bodily change, critics and fans alike have taken issue with the way Trainor has chosen to lose the weight.

Numerous Reddit threads have been created in response to the situation since Trainor revealed last year that she was using Mounjaro (also known as Ozempic) for weight loss. "She has the kind of facial structure and features that need more fat on it – right now her face looks like a skeleton," one Reddit user commented.  Another user commented saying that they felt she looked better before taking the supplement and that now she looks much older.

Trainor is one of 12 celebs who totally transformed after taking Ozempic or other GLP-1's, and we've been able to see her confidence radiate even brighter than it did before. The contrary side of many people's arguments is how Trainor debuted her career as someone firm on body positivity through her song "All About That Bass" and being larger in size in comparison to other music artists. Now that she's lost so much weight, the question remains about where she stands today.

Meghan Trainor is one of the many celebrities to add to the Ozempic conversation

With so many head-turning transformations of millennial celebs who used Ozempic or other GLP-1's, it's no surprise that some are receiving backlash. If anything, it reminds us to humanize celebrities as much as possible and not glamorize their journeys. Since commentary has arisen about Meghan Trainor's weight loss, she's responded to haters during her exclusive interview with People.
"People started commenting about my body, saying I'm too thin, and that they don't recognize me anymore. And I was like, 'Oh, I've just been focusing so hard on my health and my fitness that I've never felt better,'" she confided in the publication. "So, I was confused and sad and was like, 'Oh, it's almost worse now.' I don't know what happened." She continued on to express her love for how she looks now and that her health is a top priority.

Other celebrities such as Caroline Stanbury and Kathy Bates have also been transparent about their experience with taking Ozempic, sharing the amounts of weight that they lost. The popularity of Ozempic has also caused many celebrities to be accused of taking Ozempic when they aren't. For example, fellow musician Lizzo has been accused of taking Ozempic on more than one occasion despite sharing her fitness journey on social media. What we can learn from all of these women's journeys is to embrace what works for you and find happiness on the road towards reaching your own body goals.
