Jennifer Lopez's Child Emme Has Had A Stunning Style Transformation

Emme Maribel Muniz was born to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony in 2008. They first stole our hearts with their energetic performance with their performance on Lopez's "It's My Party" tour in 2019 and then at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2020. Since then, Muniz has undergone quite a style transformation and cultivated their own unique style. This is not unusual for celebrity kids (or any kid, for that matter). In fact, Kim Kardashian's daughter, North West, has also had quite the style transformation. 

Muniz started off wearing very feminine skirts and dresses. Then, as the years went on, they cut their hair shorter, got glasses, and started to accessorize with layered necklaces. Personally, we think Muniz's style is very cool and age-appropriate, too. They have followed well in their mother's footsteps, as Lopez is known to have some chic fashion moments herself. Muniz's own style has certainly evolved over the years.

Emme Muniz made a surprise performance in February 2020 at the Super Bowl halftime show. Muniz wowed the crowd, leading a children's choir in a performance of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" and singing "Let's Get Loud," alongside her mother. Muniz looked very feminine and even fairy-like, wearing a white Swarovski crystal-embellished skirt and hoodie with a gold chain belt. Their hair was in a bun, suggesting that it was quite long at the time. 

By August 2022, Emme Muniz looked hardly recognizable from their halftime show appearance while walking down the streets of SoHo with mom Jennifer Lopez. The contrast in style between the mother and child is so striking. Lopez wore a lavender dress, while Muniz went for a casual look. They wore a brown button-up shirt opened, showing a white t-shirt underneath. They paired it with jeans to finish off the ensemble. This time, there was an addition of a pair of round glasses. Another noticeable style difference is Muniz's hair, which was cut short.

While walking the streets in May 2023 in Los Angeles, Muniz wore a casual, sporty outfit (and their mother, Jennifer Lopez, decided to wear a casual fit on this outing, too). Muniz paired a navy sweater with a Tommy Hilfiger logo on it with baggy, denim shorts. During this walk, Muniz ditched the glasses, but their hair was still short. We noticed that they tend to go bare-faced when it comes to makeup, as well. And that's perfectly fine, as their skin is flawless anyway.

At the "Othello" opening on Broadway in March 2025, we really got the chance to see Emme Muniz's unique style shine through. They wore a pin-striped suit with a plaid tie and a gray button-down shirt. They also accessorized with stacked pendants, their glasses, and edgy earrings. Muniz looked classy and stylish next to their mother, Jennifer Lopez, who has also undergone a style transformation since her divorce from Ben Affleck. Lopez wore an embellished, sparkling two-piece outfit with a black fur coat. Lopez styled her hair slicked back and wore big oval earrings. They definitely made an adorable mother-child duo.

In April 2025, Jennifer Lopez and Emme Muniz attended the "Good Night, and Good Luck" opening on Broadway in NYC. Not only were they both dressed to the nines, but they matched, as well! The then 17-year-old Muniz wore a tailored look: a black suit, white button-down dress shirt, and layers of necklaces. They wore their hair short and wore noticeable makeup (eyeshadow, lip gloss, and possibly blush). They also wore spacers in their ears. The look was classy, with a bit of a personal touch of Muniz's unique style.

Emme Muniz definitely looked stylish at the "Kiss of the Spider Woman" screening in 2025. They wore a tailored, deep red blazer, matching their brother, Max. They also wore black pants, layered necklaces, and spacers. The necklace is a standout piece, as it has a safety pin attached to a heart pendant. Muniz's makeup was light and natural. They wore their hair short and curly. The trio all coordinated, with their mother, Jennifer Lopez, wearing a tan, green, and black ensemble.
