Aubrey O'Day's Face Has Totally Transformed Over The Years
Aubrey O'Day has undoubtedly gone through a massive, total transformation since the moment she burst onto the scene in 2005 in the MTV show, "Making the Band". The former "Danity Kane" group member looked nearly unrecognizable, and considering how obsessed we are with how celebs look, O'Day's transformation has been noted and would make anyone wonder what cosmetic procedures she's had done over the years.
The image below shows the contrast between O'Day's 2016 self (left) and her 2024 self (right). The most recent picture of her sees O'Day sporting fuller cheeks and lips, as well as a sharper nose tip and smaller eyes (though the latter may be because of her more filled cheeks).
Similar to how some celebs are vocal about avoiding plastic surgery, O'Day herself has firmly stated that she has never had plastic surgery, though she admitted to having Botox and fillers injected into her face. The latter may certainly explain the puffiness on her cheeks in the above image. Instead, she insists that she looks very different in pictures due to filters. "I put a lot of filters," she exclusively told US Weekly, "I know all the tricks and I use them." But regardless of what the true cause is for O'Day's startling change, the media personality is certainly not shy about flaunting her good looks on the red carpet.
Aubrey O'Day has long struggled with her appearance
When you've been in the spotlight for as long as Aubrey O'Day has, it's natural to start feeling a little self-conscious about your appearance when you have cameras in your face all day. However, the singer has revealed that her former "Making the Band" mentor, the now-disgraced record executive and convicted criminal Sean "Diddy" Combs, made the problem worse and pushed her towards plastic surgery. O'Day, who appeared in "Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind" and had her lip fillers dissolved, bared all in this clip from the show to "Botched" co-host Dr. Terry Dubrow. "It started with being in a girl group and the demands I noticed of my looks. Diddy was..." O'Day paused to compose herself before continuing, "I was the sexy one, and that needed to be who I was at all times."
In fact, the former "Celebrity Big Brother" contestant drew back the curtains on why she was kicked out of her girl group in 2008. O'Day implied that it was due to her non-compliance with Diddy's demands, and no, she's not talking about her singing. The television star sat down for an intimate conversation on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast, where she bluntly stated, "I wasn't willing to do what was expected of me. Not talent-wise, but in other areas."
