Side-By-Side Pics Show How Much Sharon Osbourne Has Changed Since Her Wedding Day

Aside from being known as a savvy businesswoman and an icon in the heavy metal space, Sharon Osbourne's appearance has also been a topic of interest. Similar to how her daughter, Kelly Osbourne has totally transformed over the years, Sharon has undergone a stark change as well. But it's even more astonishing to realize just how much she's changed since the day she officially became Mrs. Osbourne. "The Osbournes" star posted a side-by-side picture of her wedding day on her X (formerly Twitter) account back in July 2021 in celebration of her 39th wedding anniversary with rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

In the image above, the veteran television personality is seen in 1982 (left) on her wedding day. Not only does she look beautiful, but here, she sports fuller cheeks. In contrast, her 2025 self (right) looks noticeably slimmer, with protruding cheekbones and an overall gaunt appearance. There is an explanation for Osbourne's extreme transformation, as the star has had a publicly documented weight loss journey since 1999. Yet the loss of her beloved husband Ozzy Osbourne in July 2025 could have contributed to further weight loss, in addition to her admission to taking Ozempic. Unfortunately, Osbourne counts as one of the celebs who have had bad experiences with Ozempic and other GLP-1 variants.

Sharon Osbourne tells all about her weight loss journey

Before the Ozempic craze took over the Hollywood elite, Osbourne has had gastric bypass surgery in 1999 in an attempt to shed some weight. She also took on the Atkins diet regime to manage her food intake. In an exclusive sit-down with Entertainment Tonight, the former "The Talk" co-host shared that she's been battling a food addiction and actually felt guilty about getting gastric bypass surgery. "I felt like such a cheat when I had that band on my stomach," she shares with Entertainment Tonight, before adding that the side effects weren't worth it. So it comes as no surprise that, having been totally open in the past about her weight loss struggles, Osbourne was keen to share her experiences with Ozempic.

The former "America's Got Talent" judge revealed that she began using Ozempic in 2022, only to regret having used it in the first place due to having lost more weight than she'd expected. The star has since stopped taking the diabetic drug and is now more than aware of how the rise of Ozempic could have potential lasting consequences, especially among the youth. "I started on Ozempic last December, and I've been off it for a while now, but my warning is don't give it to teenagers," Osbourne told Daily Mail in a 2023 exclusive. "You can lose so much weight and it's easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous." Osbourne's honesty is always appreciated in a world where most celebs prefer to keep their personal lives in the dark.
