Fox News Host Rachel Campos-Duffy Has Worn Some Outfits That Totally Missed The Mark

Rachel Campos-Duffy may have gotten her start in television on "The Real World," but she soon pivoted to becoming an on-air commentator known for her conservative views. Now, as a Fox News host who has joined the ranks of Ainsley Earhardt and her penchant for wearing unflattering trends, Campos-Duffy is in the spotlight more than ever, which makes it hard to ignore her many outfit fails.

Campos-Duffy's news anchor looks mostly consist of wrap dresses and blazers, but there are times her 'fits border on inappropriate. An Instagram reel she shared in March 2026 showed her wearing a black dress with a skirt so short that it was riding up around her rear as she sat on the sofa. Given that she was there with her daughter, one would think the former reality star would have shown up with something more modest. That wasn't the only time Campos-Duffy missed the mark with her fashion, and it's time we stop being polite and start getting real about her lack of style.

Rachel Campos-Duffy's dress looked disjointed

Sequins are an old school trend from the '70s we'd love to see return, and Rachel Campos-Duffy seemed to be on the same page at the 2024 Patriot Awards. Unfortunately, her choice of dress failed to give a wow factor, as there was a deliberate absence of ornament around the middle of her bodice and sleeves. It gave the frock a disjointed feel, and the zig-zag shape was reminiscent of Charlie Brown's shirt. All we could say when looking at this fashion mishap was "womp, womp."

She could have done without the ruffles

Black dresses are always a safe bet for events, and it looks like Rachel Campos-Duffy took a bit of a risk with hers at the 2023 Patriot Awards. The top half of the maxi sheath was fine enough with a structured top and lacy detailing, but the ruffled hem desperately needed to go. It gave an otherwise classic look an outdated feel and added unnecessary bulk to the frame. The added length also overpowered Campos-Duffy's petite frame, and chopping off the bottom would have shown off some leg and given her the illusion of extra inches.

Campos-Duffy's pastel 'fit was giving coastal grandmother

It's clear Rachel Campos-Duffy wasn't following the trends in 2004 when she showed up to a Summer Fashion Cocktail Party hosted by Elahn Boutique. Not only were her white floral shirt and pink cropped pants not fashion-forward, but the outfit looked completely out of style with the gauzy babydoll dresses, low-rise flared jeans, and cute camis that were worn everywhere at the time. Instead of hip Y2K fashionista, Campos-Duffy totally channeled coastal grandmother, but maybe she was just way ahead of her time.

Rachel Campos-Duffy took the garden theme a bit too far

Rachel Campos-Duffy was all about florals in December 2025, wearing a bright green and orange dress splattered with plant material within an inch of its life. She definitely wasn't going for a subtle spring look, as this gown was super loud. And, while the colors were certainly eye-catching, the furry moss green shrug she had on was just too much. The fuzzy material resembled grass and made the whole outfit feel costume-like instead of couture, earning Campos-Duffy one of the biggest fashion fumbles by news personalities in 2025.

Campos-Duffy wore her dress in the wrong season

We're not firm followers of putting away white clothing after Labor Day, as long as the piece is appropriate for the season. In November 2022, Rachel Campos-Duffy completely disregarded this rule when she showed up at the Patriot Awards wearing a very summery white dress with lace detailing. The short, see-through sleeves and the flirty miniskirt screamed Memorial Day party instead of a political event held in the fall, and her strappy sandals only added to the fashion faux pas. If Campos-Duffy wanted to wear white, a sleek pantsuit or a simple sheath would have looked more fit for the season.

Rachel Campos-Duffy's mob-wife aesthetic Supreme Court 'fit

Fox News hosts have worn some inappropriate outfits over the years, but Rachel Campos-Duffy's January 2025 look takes the cake. The mom of nine shared a shot of herself with two of her kids on the way to her husband Sean Duffy's swearing-in as the United States Secretary of Transportation. She wore a long black coat with a gaudy fur collar, a short black skirt, and high heels. She added a pair of gold hoop earrings and large, black sunnies, and Campos-Duffy's mob-wife look was complete. "Dressed for the Supreme Court or the club?" an Instagram user asked.

She could have covered up for the cardinal

In November 2023, Rachel Campos-Duffy enjoyed a visit with Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke alongside one of her sons, and what could have been a touching moment turned into a lesson on what not to wear. The former MTV star was dressed in a very low-cut black dress that revealed a lot of cleavage — something that is definitely not something you should wear to a Sunday sermon, much less a meeting with a leader of the Catholic church. As someone who grew up with the faith, Campos-Duffy should have known better, but at least her white jacket provided some coverage.
