Mar-A-Lago Face Before & After Pics That Will Leave You Speechless

From glossy veneers to heavy bronzer, and even heavier filled lips, the "Mar-a-Lago face" is a plastic surgery trend that is popular with the women close to President Donald Trump. While cosmetic surgery is often about making someone look younger or more conventionally "beautiful," the exaggerated aesthetics of a Mar-a-Lago face seem to be signaling something more complex. The expensive procedures function as a status symbol, in addition to a political signal. 

"By investing large sums of money into these procedures, as well as upkeep, this aesthetic is not only a status symbol, but a highly recognizable symbol that they're a MAGA devotee," said Samantha Kwan, sociology professor and co-author of "Under the Knife: Cosmetic Surgery, Boundary Work, and the Pursuit of the Natural Fake" (via HuffPost).

While not all MAGA ladies are falling victim to a Mar-a-Lago face, the look has largely come to define the MAGA era. Many women in Trump's orbit look dramatically different than they used to. "This is very ['Hunger Games']," wrote one Reddit user, comparing the exaggerated beauty style to the surreal beauty trends of Suzanne Collins' dystopian YA novels. "The elites are just left with nothing to do but to mutilate themselves."

Amy Baier's Mar-a-Lago face is undeniable. The wife of Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Amy appears to have gone all in on the beauty trend, bleaching her formerly dark hair and supersizing her lips. In fact, Amy's mouth looks almost painfully swollen from filler. In addition to injectables, she's fully embraced the art of "Republican makeup," including over-lined lips and filled brows. "At some point it just doesn't look right," one user commented on Facebook. "Natural beauty is better."

Ivanka Trump's dramatic face transformation is thought to be the blueprint for the Mar-a-Lago makeover that has swept through MAGA circles. "I think she's had at least one rhinoplasty, if not two, and it looks like she did some sort of chin augmentation when she was younger — maybe a chin implant," celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie told the Daily Mail, adding that she may have gotten fillers and Botox. He estimates that her makeover probably cost well over $100,000. It turns out the distinctive Mar-a-Lago look doesn't come cheap.

Though Jeanine Pirro is over 70, her skin is smooth and wrinkle-free. An unnerving lack of fine lines is a hallmark of a Mar-a-Lago face, as is taut, plumped cheeks. Pirro has likely had Botox, fillers, and a face and neck lift. Pirro's style has always been glamorous, but she appears to have gone all in on the overdone MAGA aesthetic. "It's called the 'Mar-a-Lago package,'" wrote one Reddit user of Pirro's dramatic transformation. "Once you become a trumpet, you're required to have all the Botox and surgery your face can handle."

These days, TV anchor Kimberly Guilfoyle's features are looking super exaggerated. Though she may have split with Donald Trump Jr., she hasn't dropped the MAGA beauty look. From her puffy lips to her heavily accented eyes, Guilfoyle's face is giving classic Mar-a-Lago. In an Instagram video, plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie theorized that Guillfoyle has had fat grafts or filler to add youthful volume back to her face after losing weight. "I do see a little bit of pulling below her mid-face and into her cheeks," he said, suggesting that she may have had a face lift.

Side-by-side pictures of Jenny McCarthy highlight her Mar-a-Lago face, since the actress has indulged in significant cosmetic work. McCarthy has described getting breast implants and Botox, and some experts have guessed she's also had fat grafts. While the former Playboy model is more of a pop culture figure than a political one, she has been outspoken in her support of President Donald Trump's administration, particularly Secretary of Health Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Certainly, her sculpted cheekbones and full lips hint at a Mar-a-Lago allegiance.

The most obvious change in Kristi Noem's appearance is her long, wavy hair. But that's not the only tweak the former secretary of homeland security has made in recent years. As her political star has risen, Noem has shifted toward a softer, more feminine beauty look, in addition to anti-aging tweaks. "She most likely spends about 10k a year on various cosmetic procedures, including Botox, fillers, and possibly a thread lift," cosmetic surgeon Jimmy Sung told the The Mirror, describing her look as "the quintessential Mar-a-Lago face."

Lara Trump, Fox news anchor and President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law, looks seriously altered when compared to older photographs. Her face and lips are fuller, and her skin has a new orange tint. Experts estimate Lara has likely had blepharoplasty to make her eyes appear more open, as well as substantial Botox and fillers. "Especially in the cheeks, I see signs of dermal fillers because they look quite plump and full, whereas they looked relatively less voluminous before," cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gizem Seymenoglu told the Irish Star. She has also embraced the heavy Republican makeup.

Country singer Carrie Underwood, who performed "America the Beautiful" at President Donald Trump's second inauguration ceremony, looks way different than she did in her younger years. Her formerly thin lips look significantly fuller and her nose is narrower. The pop star underwent facial reconstruction surgery after an accident in 2017, but it's likely she also elected to have a rhinoplasty and fillers. "Looks like she went to [a] surgeon and said give me the MAGA filter," wrote one Reddit user.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt used to look youthful and fresh-faced. But during her time at President Donald Trump's administration, Leavitt has gotten a Mar-a-Lago makeover that actually seems to have aged her. "I don't know what she's done to her face but she added ten years to it," wrote one Reddit user. A 2025 photograph in Vanity Fair highlighted the bruised injection sites from Leavitt's lip filler, but she has also likely had other cosmetic alterations, too, including a rhinoplasty and Botox.

First Lady Melania Trump has forcefully denied surgically enhancing her face. "I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I'm against Botox, I'm against injections," she told GQ in 2016. Still, her face looks significantly altered by more than just the natural course of aging. Experts who spoke to Yahoo guess that Trump has had a rhinoplasty, Botox, and fillers or fat grafts to sculpt out her cheekbones. "She has had a tremendous amount of plastic surgery and her face is pulled too tight," wrote one Reddit user.
