Before & After Pics Highlight Demi Moore's Teeth Transformation
Actor Demi Moore has been dazzling audiences with her smile since the beginning of her career. While she's known as one the most iconic screen criers of all time, she has always captivated fans with her heartfelt, yet imperfect, grin in the most charming way, through her romantic and comedic roles, especially in the early '90s — long before superficial, ultra-white toothy smiles became a thing.
In her earlier on-screen years, the "G.I. Jane" star wore a less refined smile, aligning with a more natural look — the smile she was born with, as seen in the first photo below, from 1995. Upon closer inspection, her teeth were smaller and more rounded, with a distinct variation in size, and visible discoloration. As a result, her smile was also different, looking structurally curved and revealing more of her gums. More recently, her smile is radiant and near-perfect, displaying ultra-white teeth that are more pronounced, aligned, and uniform. All the key indicators to suggest Moore has undergone high-quality porcelain veneers, along with other dental work.
In addition to Demi Moore's undeniable face transformation, many have speculated that she has also had a teeth transformation by way of surgery. In fact, this was confirmed by cosmetic dentist Dr. Seher Bektaş, who not only determined that Moore received veneers or full-coverage porcelain crowns on nearly all of her visible teeth, but also that she underwent dental surgery. The expert further speculated that the "Landman" star may have received dental implants, laser gum contouring to create a more symmetrical gumline, and professional teeth whitening.
Demi Moore's teeth journey
Despite her charismatic smile, the "Ghost" actor has revealed a tumultuous dental history, proving she wasn't always blessed with the healthiest set of choppers. On two separate occasions, Moore disclosed losing both front teeth. In 2009, she famously tweeted a photo of herself (via Marie Claire), missing a front right tooth. The following year, on The Ellen Show, she candidly revealed that she had lost the tooth to Bruxism, due to an excessive habit of clenching her teeth, which ultimately weakened the enamel.
Opening up further in 2017 on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," after losing yet another front tooth, she attributed the cause to stress. "I sheared off my front teeth ... because — I think it's probably after heart disease, one of the biggest killers in America — which is stress," she told the audience. "I literally knocked it out ... It was almost like it fell out and my warranty was up," she joked, while thanking modern dentistry for restoring her smile — confirming she had work to fix her smile.
Therefore, the pearly white smile she flaunted after losing her teeth, along with films and red-carpet events at the time, point to a transformation likely achieved through high-quality porcelain veneers and dental treatments. Along with her smile, Moore has continued to evolve her image over the years, unleashing a stunning style transformation following her divorce from Ashton Kutcher in 2011.
