A self-proclaimed conspiracy theorist, Loomer lures listeners in with her thought-provoking commentary, and apparently maintains a close connection to President Donald Trump. Widely viewed as a devoted ally of Trump, she has been linked to reports alleging she influenced the firing of government officials who weren't completely loyal to him.

While the media influencer effortlessly navigates her way around the business of politics, her fashion instincts don't seem to come as easily. Case in point: the time she wore those outdated black sequined tennis shoes to Donald Trump's 2024 election night watch party. That November night, Loomer thought she had snagged the "cutest" pair of sneakers at a bargain price, believing they were the ideal pairing for her red blazer and black leggings ensemble. She proudly tapped open her X page to brag about her sparkly new find, blissfully oblivious that she was sporting an expired trend that dates all the way back to the 2000s.

"Last night before the Trump election night watch party, I wanted to get some comfortable sneakers since I knew we would all be standing till 5 am," she wrote. "I went to the mall in Palm Beach and found these super cute sparkle sneakers that were on sale." Loomer thought she had hit the jackpot, copping them for just $47, not realizing the sale may have reflected their outdatedness. Undeterred, she dubbed her sparkly tennis sneakers, "Best election night shoes ever" — boldly dodging the bland, nude shoe trend that has swept through fellow MAGA women.

Unbeknownst to the political pundit, Laura Loomer's bedazzled footwear is no longer current or fashionable. In fact, it falls among the "most outdated shoe trends," according to fashion stylist and lifestyle expert Joseph Katz. "Overly embellished shoes drenched in crystals and heavy metallic hardware are taking a step back," Katz told Women exclusively. "After seasons of high-shine excess, the mood is shifting toward softer, more romantic detailing."

Even if Loomer missed the memo on Gen-style trends, she committed yet another faux pas when she paired the sporty, party-ready footwear with a tailored blazer at a high-profile political event. Her full look, also rocking red-tinted hair and skintight leggings, was more reminiscent of punk rock fashion than it was of professional wear.
