Before & After Pics Of Real Housewives Who Admitted To Being On Ozempic

It's no secret that plastic surgery has transformed several Bravo Real Housewives, but it's become just as common for them to undergo dramatic weight loss journeys, aided by GLP-1s like Ozempic. Multiple reality stars have sparked unconfirmed Ozempic rumors, while others have spoken openly about their experiences, sharing the positives and negatives, and how much (if any) weight they lost.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Jackie Goldschneider shared some insight into how rife the drug (which was originally intended to treat Type 2 diabetes) really is in the Bravo world. She spoke candidly about how Ozempic's popularity hindered her eating disorder recovery, telling Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" podcast in 2023, "I wanted to come back into a world where everyone around me was eating and loving food and enjoying life. I wanted to come back to that and I didn't because a lot of people in the 'Housewives' world are on Ozempic." She added, "A lot of my friends are in the 'Housewives' world, so it was tough for me to come back and suddenly no one's eating when we go out to dinner." Goldschneider's admission isn't too surprising, because before-and-after pics of multiple Housewives who've been open about using Ozempic showcase a drastic weight loss.

Heather Gay lost 20 pounds after being bullied for her weight

Heather Gay of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" told "Nightline" in 2024 that she lost 30 pounds taking Ozempic. She explained she took the drug after being bullied for her weight and shared, "I didn't wanna show up at another party and see all of my friends 20 pounds thinner and just be resentful." A 2025 red carpet photo showed the star in a glamorous, sparkly gown, smiling big and looking confident compared to a snap taken two years prior.

Ozempic contributed to Emily Simpson's dramatic transformation

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Emily Simpson turned to Ozempic after neglecting her health. "I ate too much, drank too much, didn't go to the gym, didn't work out, and I felt really down," she told Us Weekly. In 2023, she shared on "Good Morning America" she'd been prescribed six weeks' worth of Ozempic, which contributed (alongside a diet change, exercise, and plastic surgery) to her losing 30 pounds. A photo from that year compared to one from 2022 showed her looking drastically different, including rocking a darker 'do.

Margaret Josephs began taking Ozempic to help her lose weight amid menopause

Margaret Josephs' frame looked drastically smaller in a 2025 photo compared to one from 2023. The ex-"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star revealed on "Sherri" in 2025 that she began taking Ozempic after struggling to lose weight amid menopause. "It shuts off that food noise, my blood work is great, and I was, like, I couldn't do anything [before]. It doesn't matter if I was eating right or exercising," she said. Josephs told Business Insider in 2023 she'd lost 22 pounds.

Ozempic didn't have the desired results for Kandi Burruss

While many Housewives have sung the praises of GLP-1s, former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss' before-and-after pictures are far less dramatic. She discussed her bad experience with Ozempic, explaining on PageSix's "Virtual Reali-Tea" podcast in 2024 that she didn't lose any weight on the drug. "It didn't curb my appetite. I know some people are like, 'Oh, I can't eat.' Not me!" she said. "[...] When you see it worked for other people and it doesn't work for you, it makes you depressed," she added.

Dolores Catania has used multiple GLP-1s

Dolores Catania told The U.S. Sun in 2023 that she'd lost 30 pounds on Ozempic, which was apparent via her more prominent cheekbones in a 2023 photo compared to a 2022 snap. But she didn't see immediate results. "It takes time to work. It doesn't happen overnight. It doesn't come off easy," she said. "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star later swapped Ozempic for the similar medication Mounjaro, but claimed on "Jeff Lewis Live" in 2025 that it had stopped helping her lose weight. "I'm really having a bad time with this," she said.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke turned to Ozempic after gaining 20 pounds

Ex-"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Braunwyn Windham-Burke told Us Weekly in 2024 that she began using Ozempic after gaining 20 pounds following a move to Nashville. "I needed help. I got help. My wife is hungry," she joked. The star suggested she'd lost the weight she gained, which was demonstrated in a 2024 photo that showed her baring her abs and looking more confident compared to a 2022 photo. She also shared that being on the medication changed her eating habits.

Caroline Stanbury lost 18 pounds after struggling to lose weight in her mid-40s

Caroline Stanbury of "The Real Housewives of Dubai" told Us Weekly in 2024 that she lost 18 pounds by taking Ozempic. She began taking the GLP-1 after struggling to lose weight in her mid-40s. A 2024 snap showed her drastic transformation compared to 2022, though Stanbury made it clear she remained active in her weight loss pursuit. "I'm not lying at home doing nothing. I go to the gym, I have a trainer, I walk all the time [and] I'm busy," she said.

Amanda Caroline Cronin lost 20 pounds taking Ozempic

Amanda Caroline Cronin from "The Real Housewives of London" told Daily Mail that she began using Ozempic in 2024. "I decided to lose weight as my dress size crept up from six to eight to 10 in two years," she explained. "I was a double zero all my life — now I'm a size zero in couture," she added, sharing she lost 20 pounds after taking the drug. The reality star's weight loss was on full display in a 2025 Instagram snap, especially when compared to a glam 2022 photo.
