Vanessa Williams Has Had A Striking Transformation Thanks To Mounjaro

Vanessa Williams is one of the many Hollywood stars who came into the industry being known for her beautiful looks and continues to be known for them as she ages gracefully among her peers. While she hasn't been one of the celebrities who have fallen victim to Ozempic neck, Williams has admitted to using Mounjaro for a couple of years. Mounjaro is a GLP-1 drug (also known as tirzepatide) that is typically used to treat type 2 diabetes and help people lose weight by improving digestion and lessening hunger.

Speaking to HELLO!, Williams said, "It's a game‑changer. When I turned 60, I was like, 'I want to be here for a long time, and I want to look my best. So what am I going to do?'" Williams explained that after starting perimenopause in her late 40s, she noticed big changes in her body and wanted to do something about it. "You feel out of control because you're working out the same way, eating the same, and your body is not reacting the way it used to," she added. As well as Mounjaro, which has transformed her life, Williams admitted to being on HRT and trying NAD+ injections.

Williams is also a fan of the P5 regenerative facial that helps to improve collagen levels in the skin for a fresher and more youthful look. The treatment helps to address the skin's texture and tone without the use of the typical facial fillers used in other cosmetic surgery procedures. "I've done it three times and definitely see a difference," Williams said.

Vanessa Williams continues to set the standard of beauty in Hollywood

Vanessa Williams is a natural beauty when makeup-free, and by embracing her appearance, she's been able to add momentum to the makeup-free trend that other celebrities have hopped on. With industry pressure constantly being high to perform well and look flawless at the same time, it helps to take a step back and be reminded of how important self-care and love are.

Williams has continued to rely on products that focus on moisture and skin replenishment for her beauty routine and has reaped the benefits over the last three decades of her career. While other actresses have leaned on Botox or surgery, Williams wants to age as gracefully as possible. "We were literally just talking about fillers, Botox, who's had work, who hasn't done work," she told People in 2024. "I have not gotten any ... I don't do fillers, I don't do Botox anymore. I haven't had a facelift. I want to look like myself. I want people to know this face has lived. That's kind of where I am at at this point, at 61." With historic beginnings as the first Black woman to win Miss America in 1984, she prides herself on not only loving life but living a life of gratitude to help her stay beautiful. And we think she has nailed it!
