Barbie Ferreira Can't Escape Ozempic Rumors After Her Dramatic Weight Loss
Barbie Ferreira has been making headlines since her weight loss transformation has her looking like a completely different person. The "Euphoria" star showed off her slimmed-down figure on Instagram back in 2024, wearing a gorgeous silver dress that highlighted her curves. The following year, Ferreira strutted the runway at a Victoria's Secret fashion show wearing a bra and boy shorts, with a denim jacket on top. "What a crazy side quest. Got to be an angel for the day," she captioned an Instagram snap of the event. Fast forward several months, and the model-actor had shed even more pounds, prompting fans to wonder if she's a celeb who totally transformed after taking Ozempic or another GLP-1.
An X user shared a clip of Ferreira at the Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show on March 8, 2026, rocking a black dress with a large cutout in the middle, looking almost unrecognizable. While many commented on how amazing she looked, one quipped, "She discovered Ozempic and never let it go again." Another thought Ferreira was a celeb who had fallen victim to Ozempic face and wrote, "When you don't lose weight in natural ways, it shows from your face though." While the "Unpregnant" star hasn't confirmed that she's on a weight-loss drug, she has admitted in the past that society prefers a thinner body, and clapped back at those who praised her for showing some skin.
Barbie Ferreira wanted to normalize bigger bodies
Being plus-sized in the acting and modeling world isn't as prevalent as it should be, which is something Barbie Ferreira bemoaned in a 2022 interview with Who What Wear. "I think bigger bodies are not as 'trendy' as they used to be, which is really sad to me. But it's more of a conversation of the fact that we all struggle with self-love, and I don't think any young person has really figured it out yet," she stated. And, the "Nope" star didn't want props for wearing certain clothes. "It's not radical for me to be wearing a crop top. [Comments like those are] just backhanded compliments," she shared.
Ferreira is trying to shed the role of the poster child for self-confidence, telling Vogue, "Stepping into a career that has historically had rigid standards of beauty, people definitely projected me as this body-positive activist, and I owned that in the beginning. But over the years, I've found my own version of that, where it's not just about size." Just like her "Euphoria" co-star Hunter Schafer, who has had a stunning transformation, Ferreira is showing off a remarkable one of her own.
