Angelina Jolie Hasn't Been The Same After Her Divorce From Brad Pitt
When Angelina Jolie married Brad Pitt in 2014, it seemed like a terrific match. After all, they both knew what it was like to be Hollywood powerhouses and they're both extremely good looking (despite Jolie's early outfits that just didn't work). But the marriage didn't last, and Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. She cited irreconcilable differences and it eventually came out that Pitt was allegedly abusive, as well. What followed was a lengthy public split, with the divorce finalized at the end of 2024.
While Jolie's post-divorce style proves she shines without Pitt, it seems she hasn't been the same since the divorce. A source close to the actress told People in March 2026: "Angie has been extremely busy and focused for the past few years. Dating hasn't been important to her. She hasn't had a boyfriend. She's pretty much been a single mom since the divorce, so that's where most of her focus has been."
Jolie is mother to six children, three of whom she adopted. She has made her commitment to her family clear throughout her career. It's easy to see that she has been focusing most of her energy on being a good mother to her kids, rather than finding new love.
There were rumors she was dating her co-star
Jolie stars in a new movie, "Couture," in which she plays a filmmaker going through a divorce and battling a breast cancer diagnosis. That has echoes of the actress' life, as she had a double mastectomy after a test revealed she had a gene, BRCA1, that gave her a sharply increased risk of developing breast cancer. In an interview with TIME France, she described the movie as "a very personal story for me." Fans have speculated that Jolie is dating co-star Louis Garrel, who plays her lover. However, TMZ reported that while the two have been out to dinner together, they're just friends.
Pitt, on the other hand, has been back on the dating scene since their divorce. He has been linked to jewelry executive Ines de Ramon since 2022, ex-wife of actor Paul Wesley. Though there are some glaring red flags in their relationship, things seem to be serious between the two. They have been living together since October 2025, per People. The couple have also made public appearances together, including their red carpet debut at the Venice International Film Festival in 2024. While we're happy for Pitt's newfound love, we can only hope that Jolie also eventually finds love again (if that's what she desires, of course).
