Pics Of Kelly And Sharon Osbourne That Pinpoint When The 'Ozempic Face' Rumors Began

The Osbournes are a legendary family, headed by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, one a self-confessed alcoholic rockstar who skyrocketed to fame in the '70s, and the other a sharp-tongued matriarch and former "The X Factor" judge. The pair, and two of the six Osbourne children, Kelly and Jack, are known for their Emmy-winning reality TV show, "The Osbournes." For years, cameras followed the family around, showcasing their chaotic dynamic and Ozzy's iconic one-liners. But letting an audience into their home wasn't enough to avoid speculation, and the Osbournes have had their fair share of rumors. The most recent chatter plaguing Sharon and her youngest daughter, Kelly, is all about 'Ozempic face'.

Like other GLP-1s, Ozempic is often prescribed to treat Type 2 diabetes. But the weight-loss side effects have propelled these drugs into the limelight and into the hands of Hollywood stars like Meghan Trainor, Oprah Winfrey, and Whoopi Goldberg. Sharon is among the list of celebs who totally transformed after taking Ozempic or other GLP-1's. She admitted to using the injectables since 2022, but after losing too much weight, she decided to stop. Kelly has been accused of taking Ozempic since the summer of 2023. While she did not confirm the Ozempic allegations against her, Kelly has hailed GLP-1s for being 'amazing'. The 41-year-old told E! News that the only reason people 'hate on' Ozempic is because they 'can't afford it' (via Today).

In September 2023, Sharon posted an Instagram Reel to announce her newest business venture, "The Osbournes Podcast". While fans expressed their excitement, some criticized her for using the diabetes medication. "Leave the Ozempic for people that need it to live," one person wrote. "Sharon please stop using ozempic! Honey you look too gaunt!" another exclaimed. Whether the start of the speculation pushed her to speak on her new appearance or if she wanted to be transparent on her own accord, Sharon appeared in an episode of "Piers Morgan Uncensored" later that month and confirmed the Ozempic rumors.

Another Instagram upload garnered a lot of unwanted attention in March 2024. The picture showed Sharon waving to an audience after being evicted from the "Celebrity Big Brother UK" television show.

When fans questioned what had caused her dramatic transformation, one person responded, "Ozempic! New Hollywood drug!" Sharon later opened up about how her stint with Ozempic had led to further health issues. "I just can't seem to put any [weight] on, because I think I went too far," she explained in an episode of the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast. Sharon also said she thinks the drug altered her metabolism.

In 2023, Sharon said she had stopped taking Ozempic after it made her drop 42 pounds and she feared for her health. "I didn't actually want to go this thin, but it just happened, and I'll probably put it all on again soon," she said in an episode of "Piers Morgan Uncensored". However, recent Instagram photos of a grief-stricken Sharon have raised concerns from fans who worry that she's back to taking Ozempic and might need support with stopping the drug. 

"You are beautiful inside. Your outside needs love too. Get some help. Please," someone wrote.

Like Sharon, Kelly has totally transformed over the years, and it seems this Instagram post sparked some of her first Ozempic accusations.

In the summer of 2023, Kelly was criticized for taking Type 2 diabetes medicine to lose weight. "Don't want to be overweight, get a doctor to prescribe diabetes medication even though you're not diabetic. Then act like your weight loss was natural," one person commented. "Long live Ozempic," another user wrote. Clad in a black dress adorned with diamonds, she may have gotten a standing ovation at the event, but it was quite the opposite online.

The Ozempic allegations had only worsened by the end of 2024. Under a picture posted on Instagram of Kelly smiling in a white dress, someone wrote, "Ozempic face." "The face of Ozempic," another person suggested. 

While Kelly didn't respond to the speculation prompted by her sharp jawline and collarbones, one of her followers was quick to fire back at the body shaming. "Who cares if she took Ozempic? There's nothing wrong with it," they said. Her fans also seemed worried about her health, asking if everything was okay and advising her to "lay off the Ozempic."

In November 2025, another Instagram upload sparked Ozempic rumors for Kelly, but this time, they seemed nastier. The video received an array of comments, with many people disapproving of her appearance. 

"Ozempic got Hollywood looking like Nightmare Before Christmas," one person quipped. "That Ozempic got you looking like your mother," someone else added. In a December 2025 episode of "Piers Morgan Uncensored", Sharon explained that Kelly had been struggling to eat since her father's death. "She's not happy. She lost her daddy ... She can't eat right now," she said. Kelly did not respond to the accusations.

December pics of Kelly Osbourne highlighted her drastic transformation and sparked more Ozempic rumors. Under an Instagram post of Kelly wearing a floor-length pink gown, one person criticized the use of GLP-1s. "When are the doctors who prescribe this medication gonna be held accountable? Emaciation will never be chic," they wrote. Another person added, "These photos are disturbing." 

During the episode of the "Piers Morgan Uncensored" podcast in December 2025, Sharon also slammed the body shamers for criticising her daughter's appearance, claiming they must be very unhappy with their lives.

Most recently, under a carousel of images posted on Instagram in February 2026, one person commented, "Ditch the Ozempic, eat a burger." While users fired back at the body slander, attributing Kelly's extreme weight loss to the grief she must be dealing with, Kelly responded to the shamers for the first time. 

"Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse," she wrote, next to a screenshot of the comments section. Kelly also said she should be celebrated for being able to get herself out of bed after her father's recent passing.
