We Can't Deny Nicole Kidman's Eyebrow Blindness In These Pics

Nicole Kidman is a remarkably talented woman. She's also one of those actors who's basically in everything and, for some reason, you never get sick of seeing her. Which probably has a lot to do with the projects she chooses to work on — even the ones that critics might call bad are still pretty darn good.

Not only is she a legit movie star with several award nominations and wins under her belt, Nicole Kidman's stunning style transformation is one of the most impressive we've ever seen. The actor definitely knows how to look her best and, even on the go, she knows how to elevate her look. In July 2025 when Vogue asked her what she never leaves the house without, she said, "An eyelash curler and mascara. As soon as you curl your lashes and put some on, your eyes suddenly look awake."

But just because Kidman may be a style icon and knows her way around an eyelash curler, it doesn't mean she's always perfect. Despite that impressive height and gait, Kidman has proven that sometimes she suffers from a case of eyebrow blindness. Which, frankly, can happen to anyone because eyebrows are, for lack of better wording, pesky and a pain in the butt to master.

Letting her eyebrows go rogue with their shapes

In October 2024, Nicole Kidman attended the premiere of "Special Ops: Lioness" Season 2 and brought her A-game, fashionably speaking. However, her eyebrows were another story. As we see here, these two brows aren't just completely different in their shapes, but also appear to be on their own journeys, something an eyebrow pencil could have helped. Having chosen to wear her hair slicked back, the mismatched eyebrows are even more obvious and draw attention away from her otherwise stunning look.

Getting a little aggressive with the brow pencil

When it comes to eyebrows, mistakes happen, but they can be avoided. Although Nicole Kidman managed to avoid the error of having the inner eyebrows too manicured, meaning boxy and unnatural, when she attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala in 2025, the issue was the coloring. Being a blonde makes eyebrows more difficult to nail, especially when your skin tone is as light as Kidman's. Considering she's wearing eyeshadow and eyeliner, she would have been better off easing up on the eyebrow pencil.

Leaving her eyebrows incomplete

For the premiere of "The Northman" in April 2022, Nicole Kidman committed one of her biggest makeup mistakes. For starters, she got really heavy-handed with the foundation, which is never a good look for women as they get older — less is more after 50, after all. Secondly, it appears she gave up on the completion of her eyebrows, having removed the tail completely. It goes without saying that the hardest part to nail of your makeup routine are your eyebrows, so Kidman has our sympathy, but every eyebrow at least needs a proper ending.

Completely forgetting her natural tones

Speaking of getting a little too heavy with the eyebrow pencil, when Nicole Kidman attended the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in 2025, she was basically all eyebrows. Between her long blonde hair, the white button-down shirt, off-white blazer, white wide-brimmed hat, and the fact that Kidman's skin tone is barely a shade above ivory, going this dark with her eyebrows looks almost diabolical. The only thing that sort of saves the situation is the fact that she's wearing sunglasses.

Going thicker than she should have

Although this is likely a wig, when Nicole Kidman attended the Chanel runway show in October 2025, she was absolutely serving up major femme fatale vibes, thanks to her hair. But because Kidman went a little too dark and too thick with her eyebrows, it almost destroys the whole look, drawing attention away from the chic curtain bangs trend she's rocking. While it's better to be a little thicker than thin when it comes to eyebrows, going too thick can create a distraction.

The mystery of the disappearing eyebrows

Nicole Kidman turned heads and absolutely slayed with this plunging neckline at the premiere of "The Perfect Couple" in 2024. But because she's wearing one of her worst wigs that's hard to look at and her eyebrow game is so off, it's not her best look. Not only are her eyebrows mismatched in shape, but they seem to be disappearing. Kidman decided to get fairly dark with her eye makeup, and her eyebrows are trying to play catch-up. Had she taken an eyebrow pencil and went even one shade darker, she could have saved them.

When her eyebrows refused to agree on a style

In January 2020, Nicole Kidman attended the 25th Annual Critics' Choice Awards and, again, brought her eyebrow blindness along with her. Although the color of her eyebrows makes sense in regards to the color of her wig, if you look closely at her brows, they're doing their own thing. While the right eyebrow has a slick and smooth appearance to it, the left eyebrow is rocking a feathery look. As far as eyebrows go, neither one is wrong, but the point here is that they should at least have the same style.

Embodying the errors of Y2K beauty trends

Although it's probably not completely fair to include a photo of Nicole Kidman's eyebrow blindness in 2001, especially considering how adorable she looks here at the premiere of "Moulin Rouge!," it's another opportunity to learn. The biggest issue here is the one that's most obvious: how different the shade of her brows is to her hair color, something that could have been easily touched up with a golden-colored eyebrow pencil. Granted, it was 2001, and society was in throes of Y2K fashion and beauty trends, but still — she could have done better.

Proving she hasn't recovered from her eyebrow blindness

Whether it's because Nicole Kidman didn't see photos of herself from Wimbledon or her eyebrow blindness just really runs that deep, in January 2026, she did it again. While attending the Chanel runway during Paris Fashion Week, Kidman went the extra dark and thick route with her brows. Although this time she's not wearing head-to-toe white, so it doesn't totally feel like her eyebrows are about to jump off her face. But they still needed to be scaled back a bit for the sake of her overall look.
