Red Flags In Pam Bondi And John Wakefield's Relationship We Can't Ignore

Although Pam Bondi is a US Attorney General, it seems like her outfits, which completely miss the mark at times, and her relationships are much more interesting topics of discussion than her politics. Even though she tries to keep her personal life private, the public can't help but create rumors about her relationship. One reason for the rumors may just be the fact that so little is known about her romantic life. At the time of writing, Bondi seems to be in a committed relationship with John Wakefield, but there are a few glaring red flags about this relationship we can't ignore.

One of the red flags of Bondi and Wakefield's relationship is that the timeline and status of their relationship are both unclear. It's not publicly known when or how the pair actually met. The earliest public sighting of the two is from an October 2017 Instagram post shared by Bondi, when they went to a Bruno Mars concert together with another couple. That same day, Bondi also posted a selfie of her and Wakefield celebrating his birthday. Since then, she has posted a few photos of the two together, but her last post of her and Wakefield was in October 2024. It seems odd that she doesn't acknowledge their relationship publicly.

Bondi and Wakefield might be secretly married

Pam Bondi and John Wakefield might be secretly married, but she has neither confirmed it. President Donald Trump, however, may have revealed the secret nuptials during Bondi's swearing-in ceremony. In a YouTube video of the event, Trump referred to Wakefield as Bondi's 'handsome husband.' If that is the case, it would be Bondi's third marriage. The only other clue the public seems to have as to their relationship status is the fact that the two appear to wear wedding rings, according to The List. It seems strange that Bondi might be hiding their supposed marriage, but perhaps she's hesitant given her relationship history, which is another red flag.

Bondi was first married to Garret Barnes in 1990, but their marriage lasted only 22 months. Her second marriage was to Scott Fitzgerald in 1996, and it lasted nearly six years before ending in a divorce. Perhaps this pattern of failed relationships points to deeper issues, such as trust issues or unhealthy dynamics.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Bondi and Wakefield were secretly married, though, because Bondi had a similar shady situation with former fiancé, ophthalmologist Greg Henderson. In May 2012, Bondi and Henderson held a celebration in Grand Cayman, which many thought was a wedding. However, according to The Palm Beach Post, Bondi and her spokesperson denied the reports that she was married, and it's still a mystery what really happened between her and Henderson. It makes sense that Bondi wants to keep her current relationship status under wraps in case it doesn't work out.
