NBC's Dylan Dreyer Is Fresh-Faced Beauty Going Makeup-Free
We're used to seeing NBC's Dylan Dreyer in full anchorwoman mode, always looking poised and ready for the camera. With a team of makeup artists and wardrobe stylists at her disposal, she steps onto the NBC set looking effortlessly chic every time. Interestingly, all that glam isn't what stands out about Dreyer, but rather how little she seems to rely on it. Besides her fit physique, her facial features appear to stand well on their own, with minimal attention. She definitely belongs on the list of "Today" show stars who are stunning without makeup.
In Dreyer's case, her naturally glowing skin and well-structured features can do without the superficialities of cosmetics and still make an impression. She proves just that through her many Instagram posts, where she shows off her makeup-free, fresh-faced beauty during her downtime at home. We took a closer look at the meteorologist's IG page to catch a few candid moments and see the more relaxed, unfiltered version of Dylan Dreyer.
In this makeup-free moment, Dreyer shared a then-and-now post with ex-husband Brian Fichera. The photos were taken two years apart, with her younger self in full glam. The later photo, from October 2024, revealed her present day look at the time. She showed off soft-looking skin and a naturally rosy complexion. Her smile lit up her face, with barely a wrinkle in sight.
She's not afraid of a makeup-free selfie
On Father's Day 2025, Dreyer shared an Instagram post honoring her dad. With the biggest grin on her face, she posed beside him for a selfie and wrote, "Daddy's girl ... and proud of it!" The TV host looked vibrant as ever and appeared to be completely makeup-free. Her fresh-faced look was dotted with pale freckles, emitting smooth, supple skin.
Dreyer has previously spoken about how she looks after her skin and definitely isn't guilty of having a skincare routine with too many steps. In 2019, she revealed that she unwinds every day with one simple task — and that's by washing her face before bed. "It's relaxing ... I know my day is winding down when I get to wash my face and take all the makeup off," she said on "Today". She also shared that her go-to nighttime face cleanser was nothing more than the over-the-counter, old-school favorite, Noxzema Classic Clean.
That same year, Dreyer also discovered the benefits of the jade roller. A jade roller is a tool made of jade or other stones that's used for massaging the face, and Dreyer shared that she noticed a difference almost immediately when she began using one. "I've used it for the last three days, and I feel like a better person," she told her rather skeptical male counterparts on "Today". It appears there are no beauty secrets behind Dreyer's fresh-faced glow. The TV anchor's charisma that we've come to know on-screen is simply carried by her confidence and a love for her craft, rather than the bells and whistles of professionally done glam.
