On-Air Ainsley Earhardt Outfits That Showed Off A Bit Too Much Leg

Since joining the network in 2007, Ainsley Earhardt has been a constant for Fox News viewers, appearing each morning as a co-host on "Fox & Friends" beginning in 2016. Alongside her on-air commentary, the host has also become known for her distinctly feminine wardrobe that favors bright hues, tailored silhouettes, and fitted dresses.

Earhardt, who's also known for wearing some unflattering trends, often opts for dresses that fall above the knee, paired with pointed heels, for a sleek, camera-ready silhouette that stands out among the sea of suits and ties on set. Over the last decade, this polished feminine aesthetic has become one of her go-to signatures, producing both some great on-air moments and a few of Earhardt's looks that totally fell flat

Beyond her many styles that have missed the mark, some of her shorter hemlines have also sparked conversation among viewers. Seated alongside co-hosts' traditional suits and ties, the contrast in styling can make her leggy looks stand out even more. With a job to deliver news and commentary, wardrobe choices inevitably become part of the presentation. That said, when a silhouette consistently draws attention, it can shift the visual focus in ways that viewers notice. That raises a broader question about how much leg is too much for morning television.

Ainsley Earhardt's coral mini was a little too short

In a March 2023 appearance of "Fox & Friends," Ainsley Earhardt wore a vibrant coral wrap-style dress with a belt detail that featured a deep V-neck and a hemline that was well above the knee. The bright color of the dress made a statement next to the subtle navy hues worn by her co-hosts, and the short length amplified the outfit's visual presence even further. While this was a bold silhouette that matched her confident aesthetic, it showed off a bit too much leg on-air.

The fitted red skirt that wasn't ideal for the stage

In July 2023, Ainsley Earhardt and her co-hosts on "Fox & Friends" joined Flo Rida on stage during the show's summer concert series. Earhardt took the stage in a basic black three-quarter sleeve top paired with a fitted red above-the-knee skirt. While the look aligned with her polished aesthetic, the structured mini proved to be less forgiving once the music started. As she danced and waved at fans, the shorter hemline rode up under the bright lights, drawing more attention than likely intended.

The figure-hugging mini dress she loved enough to repeat

In a July 2025 Instagram post, Earhardt shared a photo from the set of "Fox & Friends" wearing another vibrantly colored mini dress that once again fell well above the knee. This magenta number even had a slit, which became more noticeable as she positioned her hand along the opening while seated. Despite the dress being too leg-baring, this was the second time Earhardt wore it, as she was first seen sporting it on an October 2024 episode. At least it wasn't another boucle blazer, an outdated trend Earhardt can't seem to stop wearing.

When her mini hemline took the spotlight on Outnumbered

In a September 2025 Instagram post asking viewers to tune into Fox's "Outnumbered," Ainsley Earhardt posed in a bright red two-piece featuring a mini skirt paired with pointed gold heels. Seated beside co-host Kayleigh McEnany, who wore a more covered silhouette, the contrast in styling was immediately noticeable. Earhardt's shorter hemline stood out against the more conservative ensemble, instantly becoming the focal point of the photo. While the leg-baring silhouette aligns with her confident, feminine aesthetic, it may not have been the most fitting choice for a studio that leans more conservative.

The morning show dress that felt a little too night-out

Ainsley Earhardt took to Instagram to share a photo from the "Fox & Friends" set in October 2025. The host posed alongside co-host Lawrence B. Jones and a young guest, but the cobalt blue mini dress that she wore quickly drew attention. The fitted dress featured a deep plunging neckline that and a hemline that fell well above the knee. While the vibrant color looked amazing on her, the mini length and lower neckline leaned more evening cocktail party than morning show.

The fitted red mini dress that seemed too skimpy for December

Ainsley Earhardt clearly gravitates towards fitted red mini dresses, and a December 2025 "Fox & Friends" appearance was no exception. The silhouette and bold hue stood out against the wintry backdrop, as her co-workers were dressed in their usual layered suits. Even guest Cheryl Hines opted for a long-sleeve knit maxi dress. In a season typically associated with heavier fabrics and more coverage, the mini cut of Earhardt's dress felt visually out of place.
