Pics Of Reese Witherspoon And Daughter Ava That Prove They Share The Same Face

Reese Witherspoon doesn't have to look very far for her doppelgänger with daughter, Ava Phillippe, around. Ava has been grabbing the spotlight from her Hollywood star mom with her uncanny resemblance, which has only sharpened over time. With the same bright smile and endearing charm, it's clear the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

Though it's expected Ava would share similar facial features with her famous mother, the resemblance enters almost clone-like territory when the two are photographed together. Witherspoon's Instagram snap with her daughter in Christmas 2025 was a shining example. Fans of the Oscar-winning actor couldn't help but flood her IG page with comments about how much the two looked alike. Many wrote, "copy & paste" to describe their close resemblance. Others chimed in with "she stole your face" while another said, "I was just gonna say she looks more like you than you." Another added, "What did you do go have yourself cloned?"

Unsurprisingly, Reese and Ava's lookalike status has made headlines, placing them among other famous mother-daughter duos such as Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber, Lisa Bonet and Zoë Kravitz, and Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck (who has had a stunning transformation). However, Witherspoon was reluctant to believe her daughter looked anything like her. In a November 2022 interview with "Today," the book club founder admitted she simply "doesn't see it". Years later, as Ava has gotten older, the "Sweet Home Alabama" star no longer denies their similarities and has even added that she loves it. "I love being mistaken for her because it makes me feel so young. I'm so proud of her. She really rolls with it. I'm sure it's not easy looking exactly like your mother," Witherspoon told InStyle.

Reese Witherspoon admits Ava is a dead ringer

It's easy to see why fans constantly label Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava as twins, because the similarities go beyond their appearance. After earning a degree in social science at University of California, Berkeley, Ava followed her mother's footsteps by starting an acting career, earning roles in "Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me", "Ransom Canyon," and "Doctor Odyssey." However, this wasn't always part of the plan. The young starlet revealed to Elite Daily that she initially hesitated getting into the business. "I wanted to be my own person, and I didn't think of myself as somebody who wanted to be out there in that way," she told the outlet.

Clearly, Ava has since changed her mind about the entertainment industry. But while she may be following in her mom's footsteps, she's doing it in her own way. Fans love Ava Phillippe's relatable tattoo collection; meanwhile, her mother appears to have minimal ink on her body. The talented Witherspoon offspring also embarked on a modeling career in her teens, appearing in campaigns for Beyoncé's "Ivy Park" clothing line and Pat McGrath's "Bridgerton" makeup collection, among others.
