Super Bowl 2026: All The Worst-Dressed Celebs

The Super Bowl and the Met Gala are two of the biggest events on the pop culture calendar, but they couldn't be on more opposite ends of the fashion spectrum. Sometimes, though, our favorite celebrities seem to get the two confused when getting dressed. During the 2026 Super Bowl, multiple famous faces took major fashion risks that, unfortunately, were no style touchdowns and firmly landed them on the worst-dressed list.

Though some stars got it right and toed the line between being fashion-forward while keeping their looks appropriately casual (Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Jessica Alba, we're looking at you), others majorly missed the mark. Cardi B seemingly didn't get the memo she'd have to sit through an hours-long football game (which was outdoors for the first time in five years) in her uncomfortable-looking thigh-highs and corset, while influencer Ashtin Earle appeared to mistake Levi's Stadium for a club. Then there was pre-game performer Brandi Carlile, who needed a few extra inches added to her pants.

Kim Kardashian's diamonds and all-black ensemble were a tad too sophisticated for the Super Bowl

Kim Kardashian hard launched her romance with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton at the 2026 Super Bowl, but it was her outfit that got our attention. The reality star (who's no stranger to a worst-dressed red carpet moment) wore all-black, including an off-the-shoulder, low-cut top, leggings, and fluffy black jacket, plus multiple dazzling diamond necklaces. She looked uber glamorous, but her ensemble was better suited to a Paris fashion show than a family-friendly sports game. Kardashian was overdressed and looked out of place sat alongside Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, who both wore blue jeans.

Cardi B's knees got squeezed a bit too tightly by her thigh-high footwear

Cardi B assimilated with the neutrals dress code to dance alongside Bad Bunny during his halftime performance, but her outfit was too busy (and probably not easy to sit in either). It featured a corset top with long ruffle sleeves, a ruffled, asymmetric miniskirt, and open-toe heels with pleather material up to her thighs that appeared uncomfortably tight around her legs. The shoes also messed with her proportions and made her look shorter. Considering that she wasn't a headliner and most people around her (including Jessica Alba) were dressed more casually, the 'fit was distracting and costume-y.

Brandi Carlile's peculiar pants distracted from her patriotic performance

We love that Brandi Carlile dances to the beat of her own drum when it comes to fashion. But when she took to the field to perform "America the Beautiful," as stunning as her performance was, we were distracted by her pants. The dark bottoms, which featured four white stripes over her left thigh, were at least two inches too short and exposed her socks. On X, one user likened her bottoms to the pants worn by the fictional character Kakashi Hatake. "Why is Brandi Carlile wearing Kakashi pants?" they asked, which probably wasn't a compliment.

Karol G looked like she got lost in a haunted house

Karol G's asymmetric, white, mesh number had a nude material underneath to give the illusion she wasn't wearing anything, while highlighting her enviable figure in a very flattering way. Sadly, though, we couldn't get over how much the sheer number looked like leftover faux spider webs from Halloween. Had the star opted for the same dress in a slightly creamier or beige shade to stay in tune with Bad Bunny's neutral theme (she was spotted dancing on the field with the Latin hitmaker alongside Cardi B), her sultry number may just have worked.

Ciara didn't need to soften her edgy look with a fuzzy hat

Ciara was spotted inside Levi's Stadium alongside her husband Russell Wilson — which isn't surprising considering it was nearly impossible to miss her. Though the "Goodies" singer's fitted top tucked into leather-look pants paired with a long belt and chunky boots worked, her impossibly oversized, fluffy hat ruined the ensemble. It was way too big and didn't gel with her outfit's edgy, rocker vibe. Unless Ciara (who also had a fashion disaster at Coachella 2025) took the hat off during the game, it likely obstructed the views of anyone behind her, too, which is bad game etiquette.

Ashtin Earle's outfit was more appropriate for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Influencer Ashtin Earle admitted she knew her Super Bowl look was questionable on TikTok. "Is this too much to not wear pants to the Super Bowl?" she asked as she posed in an outfit that brought back the 2024 pantless trend. Her attire, which was better suited to a dinner or nightclub, featured a light, silky, olive wrap top over a black lace number and matching hotpants. She accessorized with sunglasses and stiletto heels, which weren't the most practical shoe choice considering she likely had to climb a few steps to get to her seat.

Jayda Hawkins' reworked jersey outfit was a bit overworked

Jayda Hawkins showing her support for her husband (New England Patriots player Jaylinn Hawkins) via her clothing was fun to see, but her bottom half was too busy and mismatched. The garment she showed off on her Instagram Stories featured her husband's team and appeared to be created using a deconstructed football jersey, flannel shirt, and a baseball button-down, which created an overly bulky silhouette. She paired the unique piece with a white corset shirt and knee-high black boots, but the pieces didn't complement each other and failed to create a cohesive 'fit.
