Hollywood's Plastic Surgery & Ozempic Takeover Was On Full Display At 2026 Grammys

Every awards season, celebrities come together to celebrate their accomplishments and those of their peers. But for viewers, award shows are also the perfect time to see what's trending in showbiz. From what everyone's wearing and how they're styling their hair and makeup to even the subtle and sometimes not-so-subtle changes to their appearances, major red carpet events collectively set the tone for what's currently trending in Hollywood. At the 2026 Grammys, the tone was loud and clear: plastic surgery is on the rise again, and Ozempic-era thinness is shaping the industry's current definition of beauty. Despite all of the expert warnings about Ozempic, the medication's influence on Hollywood's beauty standards is impossible to ignore.

While it might be rare for celebs to confirm using any kind of GLP-1 or getting plastic surgery, there are often changes that are too obvious to ignore. Whether it be suddenly hollowed facial features or plumper lips and tauter eyes, these changes in appearance have become harder to ignore. From a mother-daughter duo debuting a similar transformation to a country sensation who looked almost unnaturally ageless, the Grammys offered a look into Hollywood's trends and beauty standards for 2026.

Kelly Osbourne walked the red carpet of the Grammys in a stunning halter-style gown, but her Ozempic-era thinness and noticeably altered face are what really got everyone's attention. While her lips looked fuller, her cheeks appeared more hollowed, which gave stronger 'Ozempic face' vibes than in past appearances. Of course, her Grammys appearance had the internet talking. In a Reddit post featuring photos of Osbourne and her family from the evening, one Redditor commented, "So much Ozempic going on," while another admitted they initially thought it was a photo of Dolly Parton.

Nikki Glaser attended the Grammys as a presenter, and her face looked much plumper than it did at the Golden Globes just weeks prior in January 2026. Glaser's cheeks appeared fuller, and her overall facial features were softer, giving her a much more rounded look at the Grammys. The softer appearance contrasted sharply with the many hollowed looks of the evening, and it's often associated with injectables such as Botox or minor cosmetic touch-ups.

Lady Gaga took home two Grammys, but her red carpet appearance was just as head-turning as her wins. The artist stepped out with a noticeably leaner silhouette, and while there have been rumors about Ozempic use that started in 2023, nothing has ever been confirmed. Like her daughter, Sharon Osbourne's ultra-thin appearance turned heads at the Grammys. Unlike many celebrities, the matriarch Osbourne has been very open about using Ozempic and getting plastic surgery. And while her honesty is refreshing, her face at the Grammys was just as attention-grabbing as that of her daughter. Both Osbournes flaunted a strikingly similar look, which was heavily defined by extremely thin figures, very full lips, and hollowed cheeks. Sharon's ever hollower undereye area only emphasized her sharpened facial features. 

Believe it or not, Reba McEntire is in her 70s, but she looked practically ageless at the Grammys, so much so it almost felt unnatural. Her ultra-smooth and lifted appearance closely resembled the ultra-polished and youthful look Kris Jenner debuted after her facelift, with taut skin and lifted eyes. While the country singer hasn't admitted to getting any procedures, her public appearances continue to spark conversations on whether McEntire is immortal or just has a highly-skilled surgeon.

Kesha attended the Grammys to celebrate being a "free woman" and an independent artist, and even wore a meaningful feathered white gown to mark the moment. While the ensemble was absolutely stunning, her facial expressions — or, more accurately, the lack thereof — also garnered some attention. Whether it was on the red carpet posing for photos or interviewing, the singer looked like she was having a difficult time making any expressive facial movements, like smiling. Her face looked unusually stiff throughout the evening, an effect frequently seen with cosmetic injectables.
