While the shade of the brow itself is flattering for her complexion and hair color, each arch appears to sit too high on the face, giving her a permanent surprised look. Many people may think the starting point of the brow isn't really a big deal, but even a subtle misplacement like this shortens the center of the face visually and disrupts the symmetry.

The 2016 Grammy Awards was another instance in which Ariana Grande's eyebrow blindness ruined the beauty look. The overfilled brows also had too much definition that made them look unnatural. On top of this, there's barely a change in gradient throughout the eyebrows, which makes them have a stamped-on effect. The smoky eyeshadow she and her team opted for didn't help. While this could have been another instance of soft glam, the light ashy shade of her arches weren't really appropriate for a red carpet event with lots of flash photography. 2024 was a year full of several beauty looks that could have been major standouts for Ariana Grande if not for her ongoing eyebrow blindness. At the Academy Women's Luncheon hosted by Chanel in December 2024, the "Wicked" star wore a chic tweed mini Chanel number that she styled with a sleek updo tied with a black ribbon. Between the champagne eye shadow, pale pink lip, and signature winged eyeliner created such an elegant finish to the overall look. While the shape was more natural than the "Wicked" premiere look, the shade once again fell too close to her complexion. A deeper tint would have added contrast, rounded out the look, and better highlighted her big, expressive eyes. 

At first glance, Ariana Grande's look for the 2024 Golden Globes seemed refined and elegant thanks to the sleek ponytail and the full-glam makeup with a luminous skin finish. But, her eyebrow blindness came out in full force and ruined the overall beauty look she was going for. Here, the excessively light brows practically fade into her complexion and created an imbalance that ultimately threw off the whole look. When done right, eyebrows act as an anchor for the face and add structure. In Grande's case, despite all of the full-glam makeup, her brows are the reason why she's looking washed out in photos from the evening.

While these brows are slightly darker than the ultra-light shades she wore throughout 2024, there is still room for more contrast. The fairy-like eyelashes and pearly nose highlight create a luminescent soft glow, but the low-contrast, awkwardly straight brows flatten her facial depth and definition.
