Christina Aguilera may not have publicly confirmed that she's gone under the knife, but it's impossible to deny that her face has changed dramatically since she burst onto the scene in the '90s. In 1999, Aguilera was a wide-eyed, fresh-faced teenager, but by 2025, she'd adopted a more sultry, sophisticated look. Later in her career, her cheekbones appeared more prominent, her lips were noticeably fuller, and her eyebrows looked slightly more arched. Of course, that can all be achieved via strategic makeup, injectables, and/or weight loss, but this star has been subjected to nip and tuck rumors for years.

In an Instagram video, plastic surgeon Dr. Jonny Betteridge speculated Aguilera may have had upper blepharoplasty surgery (which removes excess skin on the eyelid) and an endoscopic facelift. Plastic surgeon Dr. Shim Ching also suggested the star had undergone upper eyelid surgery in another Instagram video, while speculating she might have had an eyebrow lift as well. Dr. Ching drew attention to Aguilera's nose, suggesting that she may have had rhinoplasty surgery (also known as a nose job, which shouldn't be taken lightly). However, the experts aren't the only ones accusing the star of purposefully altering her appearance, as chatter has spread to all corners of social media. "That's a lot of plastic surgery on Christina Aguilera — if she was walking down the street, I wouldn't even know it was her..." one X user wrote.

A Radar source also touched on Aguilera's potential procedures. "She's going to the plastic surgeon's office for regular nip/tucks that no one around her thinks she needs," they claimed in 2025. "The stuff they say she's had done is astounding, everything from Botox to fillers, liposuction, breast implants, and lasering."

Christina Aguilera promoted an injectables company

Christina Aguilera may have been tight-lipped about plastic surgery, but she's been honest about a less invasive cosmetic procedure she's had on her face. In 2023, the "Burlesque" actor became the face of Merz Aesthetics and Xeomin, a cosmetic injectable company Demi Lovato, whose face has also changed dramatically, promoted as well. "I think we all can rely on a little help. Why not?" Aguilera teased to Allure

The hitmaker also opened up about the other ways she takes care of herself that don't require a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. "I've never been a lover of the sun ... My vampire ways have helped the skin a little bit," she said (our expert noted avoiding direct sun exposure is a great way to prevent wrinkles). The "Dirrty" singer also spoke to Women's Health about her skincare routine, sharing that she uses Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and ice rollers (such as the Doré Le Glaçon Facial Ice Roller or the Contour Gua Cube). "Lord knows like when I'm feeling anxious or more stressed out, I'm more prone to dryness and breaking out, so anything cooling and refreshing that can ease the stress and the anxiety is a winner for me," she said.
