'Mar-A-Lago' Face Was Everywhere At Trump & Melania's NYE Party
Post 2025, Mar-A-Lago face has emerged as the defining beauty aesthetic of folks in President Donald Trump's inner circle world. It features high glam makeup — including thick foundation, smoky eyes, and heavy bronzer — along with blindingly white veneers, lifted cheekbones, and uncannily smoothed skin. Since this trend emerged, the internet has delighted in skewering this absurdly flamboyant look. But oddly enough, it isn't the result of botched plastic surgery. "[People] come in and actually tell me that they like the artificial look," plastic surgeon Anita Kulkarni, who is based in Washington D.C., told The Guardian. "A couple of my patients have said those exact words to me."

Instead, many people want it to be glaringly obvious that they've had work done. "Plastic surgery that is very visible makes it clear that women have invested in their body, and that's a signal that they're sending to everybody that they're putting in this work," sociology professor Alka Nenon told Mother Jones. These exaggerated beauty looks signal political alignment, and are meant to reflect the personal aesthetic preferences of Trump himself. That's why Botox and self-tanner abounded at the New Year's Eve party that Trump hosted to ring in 2026.
Jeanine Pirro
Lawyer and new host Jeanine Pirro showed up in spangles. Like many women connected to MAGA politics, Pirro is nearly unrecognizable in throwback photos. That's because she's had cosmetic work done and embraced the high glam beauty of President Donald Trump's world. From her high contrast eyebrows to her heavily lined eyes, Pirro is clearly not into a no-makeup makeup look. But it appears to be working for Trump, who told New York Magazine that Pirro is "sexy as hell."
Melania Trump
First Lady Melania Trump appeared with her signature pout and sculpted cheekbones, wearing a metallic silver. Like many other women associated with the MAGA movement, Trump's face appears to have been significantly altered, with plastic surgery experts speculating that she's had a number of cosmetic enhancements, including a rhinoplasty, cheek implants, a face lift, and Botox. But despite the investments in her appearance, the former model insists there's more to her than meets the eye. "I'm not only a beauty, I'm smart," she told Dujour. "I have brains. I'm intelligent."

Alina Habba
Attorney Alina Habba brought the glitter in a silver floor-length dress with an elegant square neckline. Unfortunately, the harshness of her fake tan, her uncannily smooth skin, and her exaggerated lips undercut the perfection of her gown. Her altered features are so dramatic that it's almost hard to remember that Habba looked so different before she joined Trump's team. But Habba isn't one to shy away from hyper-feminine makeup. "I don't fit the typical lawyer profile," Habba told a crowd during a speech for Turning Point USA. "I wake up an hour and a half early [before court] for glam squad to come."

Kristi Noem
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is among the women whose appearance has changed dramatically since joining President Donald Trump's inner circle. "As she's gained national attention, her image has evolved into something far more refined and high-glamour," hair stylist Chad Cook told the Daily Mail. Noem appeared at Mar-A-Lago on New Years Eve rocking a floor-length red outfit, as well as the long, curled hair, fulled lips, and harsh bronzer than have become her signature look in recent years. Since Noem is the face of the administration's deportation policies, her hyper-feminine appearance has earned her the nickname "ICE Barbie."
Lara Trump
Lara Trump, former RNC chair and wife to Eric Trump, showed up in a shimmering pink gown. It seems she was heavy-handed applying the bronzer, which is a signature makeup mistake from the women in the Trump family. She also wore her beloved drooping false lashes that give her a perennially sleepy look. Lara Trump looked so different before her foray into the limelight that fans — along with some experts — have theorized she has had cosmetic surgery. "A closer examination of Lara's recent photos is also suggestive of blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery, in my opinion," cosmetic surgeon Gizem Seymenoglu told the Irish Star.

Bettina Anderson
Socialite Bettina Anderson appeared on the arm of her fiancée, Donald Trump Jr in a strapless white dress. Anderson's sculpted cheekbones appear to be getting a little artificial help. The former model clearly isn't afraid of injectables. She's even a brand ambassador for a Palm Beach medical spa, and counts Renuva filler among her favorite treatments. As a result, she looked unsettling identical to many of the other women in attendance. "I used love her, think she was so quirky," wrote one Reddit user. "She's so fake looking now."
