Erika Kirk gets almost as much attention for her hair as her political views. Kirk began her transformation with a very short 'do, as she told Miss USA her hair would naturally get so knotty as a child she cut it extremely short. "Just, like, straight across, bowl haircut," she admitted. As an adult though, the CEO and chair of Turning Point USA has a drastically different look. She usually wears her eye-catching blond locks down and seriously long, which has sparked rampant speculation that she wears hair extensions. Kirk hasn't publicly confirmed if she gets a little help with her mane's length and volume (though hair and wig expert Amber Renee told The List she believes Kirk regularly wears extensions) but we know for sure she's not against styling her hair. She often curls her long locks to create waves or a bouncy, defined look and sometimes grabs the hair straightener for a sleeker aesthetic, too.

Every now and then though, Kirk ditches heat tools or heatless curl hacks and heavy hairstyling. Instead, she's shown us her natural hair texture, including in 2018 when she introduced the world to her curly baby hairs via Instagram Stories. Kirk posted a selfie with her blond hair pulled into a ponytail. Surrounding each of her ears were short, curly strands, which she pointed out with an arrow and wrote, "Baby curls [Instagram] debut." But it's not just her un-styled waves she's given us a peek at, because if this star is wearing extensions, a few photos of this mom of two have also given us a glimpse at what her natural hair looks like.

Where better for Erika Kirk to show off her natural beachy waves than at the coast? In 2025, Kirk shared snaps with her late husband Charlie Kirk on Instagram that showed the wispy ends of her locks poking out from under her baseball cap. It's not clear if she was wearing extensions, but the visible strands appeared to be the ends of her natural baby hairs as they had an obvious curl. The star clearly hadn't styled her locks, as her strands were more unkempt than her typical uniform, sleek curls.

An Instagram video of Kirk enjoying family time showed she had much shorter pieces of natural hair on top, with darker, longer strands underneath that stretched past her waist. Her tresses were in the looser beachy waves we know make up their natural state, but the wind also dialed up the star's frizz to show which sections were her natural hair amid potential extensions.

Kirk took a dip in the pool and totally soaked her tresses, which turned almost brunette with a few bleached strands. Her waves were still obvious though, as the shorter pieces of hair that weren't down her back fell into curls around her face and at the top of her forehead. "Dat hair doe," one person commented on the upload.

The social media snap also gave us a peek at the color Kirk's hair grows, as her roots were noticeably darker than the warm blond of the rest of her strands.
