Emma Stone has come a long way since getting her big break in "Easy A," but it's more than just her career that's totally transformed. Side-by-side photos show how much Stone's face has changed, as a snap from the 2007 "Superbad" premiere showed her looking very different from a photo taken at the opening night of the play "Julio Torres Color Theories" 18 years later. In the 2007 image, Stone's face appeared fuller and her chin and jaw less prominent. She also had deeper smile lines under her eyes, which is totally natural.
Of course, the actor had 18 years of natural aging under her belt in the more recent snap, and also did her makeup dramatically differently. Stone gave us Michelle Williams vibes with her subtle makeup and fair skin, and gone were the heavy eyeliner and visible freckles. Her nose was a little less defined, too, as if she'd skipped the contour, and her lips appeared slightly fuller. One thing that stayed the same, though? Her gorgeous, shiny, red hair (which isn't Stone's natural hair color).
Social media users and experts couldn't help but comment on just how strikingly different Stone appeared, and some even speculated she'd turned to cosmetic treatments. "She looks like she's had work done," one X user commented. Plastic surgeon Dr. Babak Dadvand even listed what he believed she'd had done to The U.S. Sun, claiming, "[She] has had a browlift, upper blepharoplasty, and lower eyelid surgery." Others defended the "Cruella" actor against the surgery allegations, though, as one X user hit back, "Plastic surgery are you nuts, just different makeup and hair, and camera angle and quality." Stone has never publicly announced she's gone under the knife.
Emma Stone's go-to skincare products are super moisturizing
Though Emma Stone may not have confirmed any plastic surgery, she has shared the beauty products that keep her looking her best. The "La La Land" actor clearly knows how important keeping her skin moisturized is, which has likely contributed to her ever-youthful glow. The star told Glamour she likes to change up her skincare routine, but shared, "The thing I like the most is just straight oils — olive oil, argon oil, grape seed oil, coconut oil — but unfortunately, a lot of that stuff is too heavy to wear all over your face all the time." The talented "The Help" star revealed she also used Cetaphil Face Moisturizer and confirmed she knows the importance of applying SPF, which we should all be wearing all winter long.
Stone's makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, also shared some of the skincare items she used to get the star's skin glowing before the 2025 Oscars — where Stone landed on our worst dressed list (though her skin was flawless). In an Instagram post, Goodwin confirmed she applied iS CLINICAL Copper Firming Mist before iS CLINICAL Pro-Heal Serum Advance+. She also used iS CLINICAL Reparative Moisture Emulsion and kept the actor's eyes hydrated via iS CLINICAL Youth Eye Complex Under Eye Cream. No matter what Stone has or hasn't had done, she's always looking gorgeous.
