All The Details About Melania Trump's Wedding Ring

When Donald Trump and Melania tied the knot in 2005, of course, it was a lavish affair. Hello! reported the big day, which took place at Mar-A-Lago, may have cost as much as $2.5 million — so it's no surprise Melania got a pricey wedding ring to match. According to Irish Star, Melania's nuptial jewelry was designed by British jeweler Laurence Graff and features 13 carats worth of emerald-cut diamonds. "In 2005, this ring's price was $380,000; however, today, this translates to $580,000," Prestige Pawnbrokers' Alexandra Michell said in 2025, making it even more expensive than Melania's priciest outfits.

While many married women choose to wear both their engagement and wedding rings on the same finger, Melania rarely pairs them together. On a few occasions, like in her 2017 official White House portrait, she wore them on her ring fingers on opposite hands, and other times she wears the multi-diamond band instead of her engagement jewelry. "This is not uncommon for those who find their two rings a little uncomfortable to wear together," Queensmith Master Jewellers' senior gemologist Eddi Norris told Express.co.uk. "Each emerald cut diamond set into Melania's eternity-style wedding ring looks to be around the one-carat mark, so the band is on the chunkier side," Norris continued. "The sheer size and robust design does not lend itself well to sitting comfortably alongside her substantial engagement ring." Melania certainly wears her rings more than her husband, though, as Donald has never worn a wedding ring since they tied the knot.

Melania Trump also owns a ring estimated to be worth $4 million

Though Melania Trump's wedding ring is seriously pricey, it's not as costly as her engagement ring. Or, we should say, engagement rings. Donald Trump proposed with an emerald-cut diamond ring from Graff Diamonds, weighing 12 carats (above, left), but told The New York Times in 2005 he supposedly only paid half of the ring's $1.5 million-estimated price tag. "Only a fool would say, 'No thank you, I want to pay a million dollars more for a diamond,"' he said. Though Graff Diamonds' chairman, Laurence Graff, denied Donald's claim to Forbes, a source told the outlet, "He paid for [the ring] in full, and he paid immediately." Either way, it's still one of Melania's most insanely expensive pieces of jewelry.

That's not the only ring you've seen on Melania's left-hand ring finger, though. For their 10th wedding anniversary, Donald gifted the now first lady a huge, 25-carat ring with a rectangular diamond (above, right), which she often wears in place of her original engagement ring. The anniversary jewelry has a heftier price tag than the one Donald proposed with and her wedding ring combined, as jeweler Steven Stone estimated it could be worth around $4 million. "Set in platinum, the sleek, elongated shape of the emerald cut highlights the diamond's exceptional clarity and brilliance. Reportedly sourced from Graff, this exquisite piece also mirrors the rising popularity of emerald cut diamonds, which offer a striking yet classic design," they told Hello!. Clearly, Melania has an impressive array of wedding jewels that even give royal engagement rings a run for their money.
